Mega Kangaskhan Raid Day: Date & time

For a span of three hours, the highlighted Mega Evolution will dominate all Mega Raids, providing ample opportunities for players to battle and capture it.

Featured Attack

On its Raid Day celebration, the Mega Kangaskhan encountered during Raid Battles will be equipped with the Normal-type Charged Move, “Stomp.” Consequently, Kangaskhan that regular players manage to catch in these battles will possess this powerful attack as well.

  • Gym and Raid battles: 50 power

Event bonuses

Here are all the bonuses that will be active during the Raid Day:

  • Remote Raid Pass limit increased to 20 from May 2, 2025, at 5:00 PM until May 3, 2025, at 8:00 PM PDT.
  • Receive up to five additional Raid Passes for free by spinning Gym Photo Discs (for a total of six).
  • Increased chance of encountering Shiny Kangaskhan from Mega Raids.

Event ticket

Individuals seeking additional perks and in-game goods are welcome to procure the event ticket, priced at approximately $5 (depending on your local currency), within the game’s internal marketplace. This purchase grants access to the following benefits:

  • Eight additional Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs for a daily total of 14.
  • Increased chance to get Rare Candy XL from Raid battles.
  • 50% more XP from Raid battles.
  • x2 Stardust from Raid battles.

During the duration of the Raid Day, which spans for three hours, these bonuses will be activated. However, you’ll still have the opportunity to purchase a ticket from the shop until an hour before the event concludes on May 3, 2025, at 4:00 PM local time.

In order for players to buy and present event tickets within Pokemon Go to their friends, they need to have attained a Friendship status of ‘Great Friends’ or better first.

Timed Research
