In the Pokemon Trading Card Game, it’s been announced that Mega Evolved Pokemons will return after much anticipation, with the upcoming Mega Evolution expansion. Before its release later in the year, The Pokemon Company has unveiled a fresh trailer highlighting some of the thrilling Pokemon and Trainer cards that will be included in the set.

Apart from the latest expansion, there’s another one set to debut in Pokemon TCG this year. Known as Scarlet & VioletBlack Bolt and Scarlet & VioletWhite Flare, these themed sets based on the Pokemon Black and White video games will hit the shelves on July 18. They will introduce over 170 new cards, drawing inspiration from Pokemon and characters of the Unova region.

The Pokemon TCG Pocket app will be receiving a fresh update in the form of an upcoming expansion called Eevee Grove, which goes live on June 26th. This exciting update brings over a hundred new cards to the game, many of which feature Eevee’s latest evolutions. Additionally, the game is introducing a unique Eevee-themed display board and binder cover to celebrate this expansion.

The month of July looks set to be brimming with Pokemon updates, with a fresh Pokemon Presents broadcast scheduled for July 22nd. At the moment, no additional details regarding this presentation have been disclosed, but it’s likely that it will unveil further information about the upcoming game in the series, titled Pokemon Legends: Z-A. This game is set to release on both Nintendo Switch and the rumored Switch 2 on October 16th.
