Our protagonist, ‘Reacher’, returns in a new adventure, where he faces what could be his most formidable foe – a colossal antagonist!”
A truly imposing figure!
Indeed, the main battles this season revolve around our muscular protagonist Reacher, portrayed by Alan Ritchson, and an imposing bodyguard named Paulie, played by Olivier Richters. However, there are numerous other obstacles to contend with, such as a captivating villain (Anthony Michael Hall), a figure from Reacher’s past concealing sinister secrets (Brian Tee), and even an DEA agent who might find issue with his unorthodox tactics (Sonya Cassidy).
According to Prime Video, the third season of the series sees Reacher thrust into the core of a massive criminal organization as he tries to save an undercover DEA informant who’s running out of time. In this world of secrets and brutality, he encounters some unresolved matters from his own past.
As per tradition, many characters from the initial two seasons have been replaced by a fresh lineup for Season 3. Therefore, EbMaster provides an analysis of the predominantly new personalities featured in Season 3.
Jack Reacher (Alan Ritchson)
You know this guy! Our stoic, hunky hero is the primary connective tissue between seasons.
“Where else have I noticed him appearing:” “Fast X,” “Blue Mountain State,” or “The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare”
or
“In which other productions has he been featured?” “Fast X,” “Blue Mountain State,” or “The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare”
Both versions convey the same meaning as the original sentence, but aim to make it more natural and easy to read.
Frances Neagley (Maria Sten)
Reacher’s closest friend is the only other character that has been thoroughly introduced across all three seasons. Neagley is also set to take center stage in a separate series, which recently started filming.
What else you’ve seen her in: “Channel Zero: The Dream Door,” “Swamp Thing”
Susan Duffy (Sonya Cassidy)
Could it be possible that Reacher has developed feelings for a tough and witty DEA agent from Boston named Susan, as suggested by the press release, which describes her as exceptionally intelligent and humorously sarcastic?
What else you’ve seen her in: “The Man Who Fell to Earth,” “Lodge 49,” “The Last Kingdom”
Zachary Beck (Anthony Michael Hall)
In this new role, the legendary figure from Hollywood portrays Zachary Beck, a prosperous businessman who’s also a widower and father to a 20-year-old son named Richard. Beck owns a rug company, but there are suspicions that it’s merely a front for something more sinister – a hidden operation. This character is described in the promotional materials as formidable and successful.
What other movies or shows have you spotted him in? (Some examples include “Sixteen Candles,” “The Breakfast Club,” “Bosch: Legacy,” and “Halloween Kills.”)
Paulie (Olivier Ritchers)
In my opinion, the makers of “Reacher” have astonishingly upped the ante by casting an even more colossal adversary for our titular hero. This newcomer goes by the name Ritchers, affectionately known as “The Dutch Giant,” standing a towering 7’2″ and tipping the scales at an impressive 342 lbs. Holding the Guinness World Record as both the tallest currently active actor and bodybuilder, this behemoth is bound to give Reacher a serious run for his money in the muscle-bound stakes. That’s Paulie, Zachary Beck’s formidable protector, and he’s more than ready to step into the ring with our hero!
What other films have you noticed him appearing in? (Options include “The King’s Man,” “Black Widow,” “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny,” and “Borderlands.”)
Quinn (Brian Tee)
Quinn is a former Military Intelligence officer with a dark past tied to Reacher.
What other movies or shows have you spotted him in? Some examples include “Chicago Med,” “The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift,” “The Wolverine,” and “Jurassic World.
Richard Beck (Johnny Berchtold)
Richard is Zachary Beck’s son, who is a key piece of the DEA investigation.
What you’ve seen him in: “Tiny Beautiful Things,” “The Passenger”
Guillermo Villanueva (Roberto Montesinos)
Guillermo is portrayed in media releases as a DEA agent who is both gruff yet endearing, and standing on the brink of his retirement.
What else you’ve seen him in: “9-1-1: Lone Star,” “Father Stu,” “We Bought a Zoo”
