Mecha Break Patch Notes Detail New Extraction And PvP Modes

Mecha Break, developed by Amazing Seasun Games, is an exciting, free-to-play anime mech shooter game. Starting this week, the game launches with multiple events marking its initial season, along with a host of new modes and updates previously unavailable during the feature-limited open beta phase. The primary addition includes numerous multiplayer options such as cooperative, player versus player, and “extraction” modes. Additionally, players can now access a range of fresh cosmetics and customization features.

In Operation VERGE, you engage in intense 6 versus 6 battles, with the winning team being the first to accomplish a map-related objective such as capturing certain locations or escorting a vehicle. Ace Arena presents a fast-paced 3 versus 3 deathmatch where teams aim to eliminate eight opponents, and players can swap their mechs during combat. Operation Storm is Mecha Break’s extraction mode, set in the expansive Mashmak map, featuring both player-controlled and AI enemies, loot collection, and a race against time to reach the designated extraction point. You can choose to enter Mashmak with a team or solo, and there’s also co-op gameplay that allows you to explore restricted zones with boss fights or timed objectives.

With the complete launch of Mecha Break, you now have the chance to personalize both your mechs and their pilots! By using in-game missions, achievements, or micro-transactions, you can acquire various paints and patterns for your mech. Similarly, pilot cosmetics such as makeup, hairstyles, outfits, and more can be customized. Additionally, you can sell your avatar design in the Matrix marketplace to earn in-game currency. The latest update also includes the opportunity to explore your base during downtime from missions. You’re even able to invite up to two friends to join you on this adventure, and there’s a new feature for taking selfies together!

Beyond just playing the game, you’ll discover numerous methods for collecting rewards and cosmetics in Mecha Break. For a comprehensive rundown, check out the complete patch notes provided below or available on Steam.

#Operation VERGE#

Gameplay Overview

· Engage in 6v6 battles. The first team to complete the objective wins.

If a pilot becomes incapacitated, they can carefully plan their return to the battlefield to aid in reuniting and coordinating with their fellow team members.

Maps

1. Kraub Sinkhole becomes Crater Kraub

2. Cape Blanc Observatory becomes Blanc Cape Observatory

3. Palmbay Harbor becomes Palm Bay Harbour

4. Eye of Misra becomes Misra’s Eye

5. Gracelynn Skycity becomes Skies of Gracelynn

6. Poseidon Armory becomes Poseidon’s Arsenal

7. Stella Observatory Island becomes Starry Observatory Isle

8. Longmen Launch Site becomes Longmen Launchpad

9. Vigil Imbrium becomes Watchtower in Imbrium

10. Babylon Sky Fortress becomes Skies of Babylon Fortress

Kraub Sinkhole

Illegitimate mining activities by Windrose Logistics at the Kraub Sinkhole have inadvertently stimulated excessive Corite growth as a result of hasty digging, potentially undermining local safety. Upon receiving intel about this situation, S.H.A.D.O.W. has deployed a team to halt the operation. Given advance knowledge of the impending raid, Windrose is now hastily moving data and eliminating any traces before they retreat.

Teams need to seize and hold onto three Key Data Points to gain control of the sinkhole. The first team to finish data extraction or be ahead when the mission ends will emerge victorious.

· Special Environment: Underwater

Cape Blanc Observatory

In the derelict observatory remains of Elventa Region, Oak Biotechnology set up a lab for genetic modification research, causing concern among clandestine groups. These hidden entities hired Theia’s Vanguard to destroy the site using Corite Extractors. To counter this threat, S.H.A.D.O.W. dispatched a team to disable the Corite Extractors and prevent catastrophe.

Teams are assigned to deactivate as many Corite Extraction Units as they can in the designated region. If left unattended, these gadgets will trigger on their own. The team that successfully deactivates the required number of units before the mission ends will be crowned the victor.

Palmbay Harbor

At Palmbay Harbor, the crucial Corite Cascade Reactor, which powers the port and surrounding cities, needs a fresh core. S.H.A.D.O.W. has been assigned to protect this new core. However, Saint Enos is causing trouble, aiming to sneak into the Central Workshop and pilfer warship parts by disguising a bomb as a Cascade Engine and detonating it. This deception is part of an attempt to create confusion and chaos while pretending to escort the new core.

As a gamer, I’m part of a team tasked with guiding our Transport Vehicle along a specific path towards the Central Workshop. Along the way, we need to interact with three Signal Consoles to speed up the vehicle’s journey. The squad that manages to reach the Central Workshop first before the operation ends will be crowned the victors.

Eye of Misra

At Eye of Misra, I found myself in a tense situation as a researcher, partnering with The Future Society. Our work in the long-neglected Corite mining site was suddenly threatened when Windrose Logistics sent mercenaries to silence us. Thankfully, Misra Matrix responded swiftly and dispatched S.H.A.D.O.W., their elite security force, to ensure our safe escape.

As S.H.A.D.O.W. and the mercenaries closed in on Eye of Misra, a fierce battle erupted for possession of the evacuation rocket’s keys. It was a race against time to secure our safety and complete our mission.

Teams are assigned to find and download launch codes from three control panels, then upload those codes to the command center at the Main Launch Station. The team that manages to successfully upload the codes or is ahead when the mission ends will be recognized as the victor.

· Special Environment: Corite Pulse Storms

Gracelynn Skycity

As a gamer, I found myself in the midst of a tense conflict. The Federation’s relentless digging for Skycity construction, deep into Corite, stirred up trouble with the Apostles, a group worshipping Corite. In response, the Apostles retaliated by launching an assault on Skycity. To protect our city, S.H.A.D.O.W., my team, stepped in to confront the Apostles directly within Skycity. The ensuing battle was intense and chaotic, even disrupting a crucial intercontinental rocket launch.

In Skycity, your team is tasked with disabling three sets of enemy Strikers. Use repair stations for assistance during firefights. The team that manages to take out 8 enemy Strikers first wins each round. Successfully winning two out of the three rounds before the operation concludes grants overall victory.

Poseidon Armory

In the depths of the ocean, hidden from view, lies the Poseidon Armory – an autonomous Striker manufacturing facility designed by Salem Electric Company and powered by Isles-Vessel technology. This underwater factory is responsible for producing colossal Strikers for the Thalassic Federation. When the Apostles uncovered this unattended facility, they saw an opportunity to strengthen their own forces by reprogramming it to produce colossal Strikers of their own. To thwart this plan, S.H.A.D.O.W. sent a team to protect the factory’s three vital control nodes and stop the Apostles’ nefarious scheme.

Teams need to seize and maintain control over three Information Hubs in order to take command of the storage facility. The team that finishes data transfer first or has the highest score at the end of the mission will be announced as the victor.

· Special Environment: Underwater

Stella Observatory Island

Once abandoned during The Catastrophe due to volcanic eruptions and Corite pollution, this island is now under the focus of Theia’s Advance Guard, who aim to install Corite Extraction Devices. These devices are designed to trigger Corite Pulse Blasts, forcing S.H.A.D.O.W. to respond. In response to Theia’s Advance Guard, S.H.A.D.O.W. has sent a team to deactivate the Corite Extraction Devices.

Teams must work to deactivate as many Corite Extractor units as they can within the specified zone. If they’re not deactivated by the deadline, they’ll activate on their own. The team that manages to deactivate all targets before the operation ends will be the victor.

Longmen Launch Site

At this location, the Vulturia Alliance built a major mass accelerator essential for their space missions. Windrose aims to manipulate the auto-launch system of this accelerator, disguising bomb transportation as routine Alliance operations, and orchestrating secret attacks to destroy the accelerator track. To prevent this, S.H.A.D.O.W. has sent a team to thwart these plans and guarantee the safe dispatch of the Vulturia Alliance’s space cargo.

Teams should accompany the Transport Carrier on a predetermined route to the Takeoff Location. By capturing and activating three Navigation Stations as they go, they can speed up the vehicle’s journey. The first team that manages to get to the Takeoff Location before the operation ends will be announced as the winner.

Vigil Imbrium

The lunar base, Vigil Imbrium, run by the Lunar-mare Commonwealth, is armed with missiles and artillery for dismantling moderately-sized asteroids. Scouts from Theia spotted vulnerable defenses at this base and initiated an attack to seize control of its primary cannon. In retaliation, the resource-limited Mare-Imbrium Autonomous Region pleaded for help from S.H.A.D.O.W. Realizing a valuable strategic opening, S.H.A.D.O.W. opted to disable the main cannon to prevent a potential risk to Earth-Moon interactions. Their objective is to drive out the intruders, secure the base, and render the primary cannon inoperable before it becomes operational.

Teams should collect Digital Access Codes from three Control Stations and transfer them to the Primary Cannon for command. The team that first accomplishes this task or remains ahead when the mission concludes will be announced as the victor.

· Special Environment: Lunar Surface, Solar Storms

Babylon Sky Fortress

As a fervent supporter, I’d put it like this: To ensure the protection of our orbital elevator, the Thalassic Federation constructed Babylon Sky Fortress right at its heart, later reinforcing it with airdrop weapons by Windrose under a security deal, which stirred up regional conflicts. S.H.A.D.O.W., my team, is now assigned to disarm this danger quickly by overpowering the fortress’s garrison troops at each level, effectively neutralizing this heavily guarded stronghold.

Teams should concentrate on eliminating opponent’s attackers over the course of three battles. There will be repair facilities accessible during the fight. The squad that manages to take out 8 opponent’s attackers wins each round. Securing two round victories before the operation ends will lead to overall victory.

#Ace Arena#

Gameplay Overview

As a passionate enthusiast, I’d put it this way: The battle kicks off with both teams sending out three attackers. The winning side is determined by either securing eight opponent eliminations before time runs out or maintaining the highest score when the clock hits zero. If we end up tied after regular play, we go into overtime. In this extra period, the team that manages to get two more kills triumphs.

At the Ace Arena, pilots have the tactical ability to replace their Strikers when they’re taken out of action. This enables them to swiftly modify their approach and devise quick retaliatory strategies based on the enemy’s team composition.

In the dynamic battlefield of Ace Arena, the maps are strategically designed to test Pilots’ versatility and combat abilities. As the fight unfolds, these maps adapt and change. Scattered throughout the battle are Modular Weapons and Auxiliary Devices that appear randomly, adding an element of surprise and boosting tactical variety.

Maps

Space Carrier: Trailblazer, Xiling Bunker City, Octantis Industrial Zone, Combat Matrix

Space Carrier: Trailblazer

The colossal spacecraft known as the Trailblazer, which began its service during Earth’s first migration to the Moon, was built by the early lunar pioneers using resources found on the Moon. This remarkable vessel demonstrates cutting-edge autonomous construction and material printing technologies. It has been instrumental in transporting immigrants, enabling a thriving population of over a million residents on the Moon, and continues to be indispensable for importing essential carbon resources and other necessary supplies.

Xiling Bunker City

After the Catastrophe, the Vulturia Alliance built the Xiling Underground Bunker City close to the remnants of Xiling City to safeguard survivors and control Corite pollution originating from the Wanshan Mountains. This city, designed to rise above ground level, can lower its central districts underground and seal itself from pulse storms, providing a protective barrier for residents against their detrimental impacts.

Octantis Industrial Zone

Located on the outskirts of Hermes, a major bay city on the Moon that serves as a port, the Octantis Industrial Zone was established by NG Lunar Company. Originally built as a construction site for the lunar orbital elevator, it has since transformed into a crucial logistics and storage center along the cislunar route. Currently, it operates independently without any human intervention needed.

Combat Matrix

Initially designed as a trial version for the initial Ace Arena system, the Combat Matrix enabled users to adjust terrain, room layouts, and battle scenarios. Surprisingly, despite its basic nature, it gained traction for facilitating training sessions and competitions. Despite plans for its removal, its popularity among testers saved it from deletion.

#Operation STORM#

Mashmak

Mashmak, the world’s largest and deadliest Marcens Zone, is renowned for producing exceptional Corite with distinctive traits. This attraction has led numerous groups to the restricted zone, resulting in a distinctly tumultuous atmosphere. Following their conquest of Mashmak, Theia’s Vanguard set up Corite Extractors, which ignited a series of massive Corite Pulse Blasts that wrecked the fortresses of various factions on the island. Latest intel suggests that Theia’s Vanguard intends to exploit these blasts to instigate a global catastrophe, compelling major Earth powers to submit to their demands. As a S.H.A.D.O.W. agent, stay alert for Corite pulse blasts and hostile squads while dismantling Theia’s Vanguard and orchestrating evacuations.

Gameplay Overview

In Mashmak, confront and disarm opposing troops, gather discarded equipment and provisions, and organize a withdrawal to the specified Exit Point once secured.

Presenting the latest in-game combat mission mode! S.H.A.D.O.W. assesses your team’s skills, task complexity, squad abilities, airdrop placement, and previous missions to dish out unpredictable combat assignments. Conquer these tasks to rake in rewards like Matrix Credits, Supply Crates, or trigger an Extraction Point for safe extraction.

Restricted Zones

Investigate the freshly added Restricted Area in cooperative play. Teams need to accomplish particular mission tasks or vanquish zone leaders before the allotted time runs out. The level of challenge in the Restricted Area and the success rate in completing it affect the type and quantity of loot you can acquire.

To access a Restricted Zone, team members should first deploy a Signal Locator (which holds the required key for Restricted Zones) at the specific location to identify it accurately. Teams that drop these Signal Locators of the same level might end up in the same Restricted Zone. In this zone, all participating teams have an equal chance to gather loot from the supply crates scattered around.

Modes

In this free-for-all contest, each pilot competes independently. The Summoning Beacon serves as a means for pilots to rejoin the fray following the defeat of their Striker. The number of times this beacon can be utilized varies based on the game’s difficulty level: 3 times in Normal mode, 2 times in Hard mode, and not at all in Extreme mode.

Collaborative Gameplay: Groups of Three Players work together to conquer obstacles. The Summoning Signal enables infinite revivals of defeated team members. As the complexity intensifies, the scope and quantity of available Limited Areas also grow larger.

Difficulty Levels

In simpler terms, this condition calls for a Combat Readiness level lower than 2000. The enemies are weak and sparse, with five possible extraction points. Additionally, there’s a 30% chance of receiving Mercenary modification drops.

Easy to Defend: The combat readiness should be less than 6,000. Tougher and more frequent enemies will appear, along with 3 extraction points. The drop rate of mercenary mods increases to 60%.

In this scenario, there’s no limit to combat readiness. The opponents are formidable in number and difficulty, offering two Extraction Zones. Additionally, there are more Extraction Signals and Ammo Drops scattered around. The Mercenary Mod drops guaranteed every time.

· Combat Readiness depends on the Pilot’s Airdrop setup and the mods on their Striker.

Across every mode and level of challenge, getting rid of a mercenary will halt their operation in Mashmak, preventing them from resurrecting using the Summoning Beacon.

· You can customize your Modular Weapons, Gliders, and various Beacons with paints and Insignias.
