Mckenna Grace, Fred Armisen, Bobby Lee and Sean Gunn Join Green Day-Inspired Comedy Movie (EXCLUSIVE)

Actor-actress Mckenna Grace, along with Fred Armisen, Bobby Lee, and Sean Gunn, are now part of the ensemble in “New Year’s Eve,” a humorous film inspired by Green Day, directed by Lee Kirk who is both its writer and director.

The movie tells the tale of three companions embarking on a journey to Los Angeles, fueled by the misconception that their band will share the stage with Green Day on New Year’s Eve. It’s inspired by the real-life adventures of California punk rockers during their early days while touring in a van.

Live Nation Productions characterizes the project as an exuberant and playful road trip comedy brimming with exciting escapades, along with a live concert by Green Day.

Mason Thames, Kylr Coffman, and Ryan Foust play the roles of the band members, with Jenna Fischer and Angela Kinsey, known for their work in “The Office,” joining them, along with Ignacio Diaz-Silverio and Keen Ruffalo.

The dynamic duo of Ryan Kroft and Michael Rapino from Live Nation Productions, together with Jonathan Daniel, have also taken on the role of executive producers for this incredible project.

Actress Grace has been recognized with an Emmy nomination. Some of her notable roles can be seen in “The Handmaid’s Tale,” “Gifted,” and “Troop Zero.” Currently, she has completed filming for “Scream 7” produced by Paramount. She is managed by CAA, Entertainment 360, and lawyer Stewart Brookman.

Armisen is an established actor who has been a long-time member of “Saturday Night Live”, co-created and starred in the series “Portlandia” and served as executive producer for “Los Espookys”. You can also find him on Netflix’s show “Wednesday” and providing voiceovers for the animated comedy “Big Mouth”. He is represented by Brillstein Entertainment Partners, WME, Yorn, Levine, Barnes, Krintzman, Rubenstein, Kohner, Endlich, Goodell & Gellman.

Lee is a well-known comedian who shares hosting duties on the hit podcasts “Bad Friends” and “Tigerbelly.” In addition to his work as a podcaster, he has also appeared in various acting roles, such as “Sweet Dreams,” “Borderlands,” “Reservation Dogs,” and “The Throwback.” His talent agency is represented by CAA, Saraphina Monaco, and Abbe Leviton.

Gunn is most recognized for his portrayal of Kraglin in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and as Kirk Gleason on “Gilmore Girls.” Beyond these roles, he has also appeared in shows like “Creature Commandos,” “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” and “The Good Doctor.” He is represented by United Talent Agency (UTA) and Mitch Clem Management.
