McDonald’s testing Red Bull drinks as part of new expanded drink menu

In certain U.S. McDonald’s outlets, you can now find two beverages infused with Red Bull, providing an alternative means for patrons to enjoy a caffeine kick along with their meals.

As a devoted fan, I was thrilled to discover the introduction of two new drinks in 2025 as part of the brand’s expansive beverage innovation initiative – the Red Bull Dragonberry Energizer and Red Bull Peach Boost Energizer. Excitingly, these refreshing beverages are now available in select restaurants across certain regions, thanks to limited regional testing.

The Dragonberry Energizer and Peach Boost Energizer are two unique drinks, each one made by merging Red Bull with distinct flavors: dragonberry syrup and freeze-dried dragonfruit for the former, and peach essences chilled over ice for the latter. A standard serving of either beverage includes approximately 80 milligrams of caffeine, which corresponds to the smallest can of Red Bull in terms of its caffeine content.

Expanding beyond CosMc’s

Initially, McDonald’s tested their new drink options at CosMc’s, a temporary beverage-focused establishment. Following the closure of this concept, some items from its menu were introduced to regular McDonald’s outlets, such as the Red Bull Energizers.

McDonald’s first tried out their unique drinks at CosMc’s, a short-lived beverage-centric business. After shutting it down, they started incorporating certain items from its menu, like the Red Bull Energizers, into traditional McDonald’s restaurants.

The beverages are a component of a broader examination that encompasses handcrafted sodas, cold coffees, and fruit-infused coolers, which are available in approximately 500 restaurants spread across states like Colorado and Wisconsin. These invigorating drinks can be located within the McDonald’s app or at participating outlets as long as supplies persist.
