As an excited fan, I can’t contain my joy as I share the news that McDonald’s has finally given us a glimpse into the return of our beloved Snack Wraps! The wait is almost over, folks!
Following several long years of anticipation, it was officially announced by McDonald’s in December 2024 that the much-requested snack wraps would reappear on the US menu no later than the close of 2025, as fans had been eagerly requesting their comeback for quite some time.
In 2016, the company took away these items, along with the crispy chicken tenders, following customer complaints about lengthy preparation periods. However, they have continued to offer this menu option in various foreign countries.
On April 15 (Tuesday), McDonald’s provided an even tighter timeframe for release by announcing another date in a post on their platform X.
Snack Wraps are coming before October
Guillaume Huin, the Senior Marketing Director at McDonald’s, hinted at a return date on his social media account, suggesting that they plan to re-emerge prior to October 2025.
“Patience, snack wraps are coming back 0x.14.2025,” he said in the post.
Since the second number in the date (the day of the month) is crossed out, it can be deduced that McDonald’s will unveil their new snack wraps no later than September 14, 2025. If the launch were to happen after this date, the first number (the month) would be incorrect because September is the ninth month of the year.

In addition to introducing their new snack wraps, McDonald’s plans to debut McCrispy Chicken Strips as an option in their meals once they resume operations in the United States.
Following the announcement, a wave of fans rushed to comment sections to express their opinions about the reduced timeframe for the upcoming release.
“Better later than never. But can we shoot for June??” one user asked.
A second replied: “Snack Wraps before GTA6.”
“Light at the end of the tunnel,” commented a third.
It’s uncertain which month McDonald’s will reintroduce the Snack Wraps, but it’s evident that fans are eager as the release seems closer than before. For now, enthusiasts might want to explore the Minecraft meal, a suitable option for both grown-ups and children.
