McDonald’s manager pleads for return of ‘kidnapped’ Ronald McDonald statue

Law enforcement officials in Pennsylvania are actively searching for four individuals following the theft of a Ronald McDonald figure from a local McDonald’s eatery.

On July 6th, as per the police report, an incident occurred that they’re referring to as a “McNapping.” This happened in a McDonald’s restaurant where four individuals were caught on camera playing around. The unusual act ended with them making off with the famous clown statue, which is the chain’s mascot.

As reported by the store’s manager, the incident of shoplifting occurred while employees were in the kitchen area. Fortunately, there is video footage that captured the criminal act taking place.

The manager informed ABC that someone had taken an employee against their will, and they’re hoping for his safe return,” said the manager, also mentioning that the employees in question are quite unique as they are no longer produced.

Clearly, the statue holds significant value for every employee here. It’s not just them who are keen on recovering it; even the Nesquehoning Police Department insists that the suspects restore this cherished statue to its original place.

Anyone encountering the statue at a gathering, inside a vehicle, or within the community is advised to contact the relevant authorities.
