At Twitch, they have recognized Maya’s dedication towards Alveus, and as a token of appreciation for her diligent work, they decided to give her a grand recognition. On September 20, during TwitchCon San Diego, Maya was invited on stage to assist in hosting the event. It was then that her co-host made an unexpected announcement.
As a devoted admirer of your accomplishments, I’m thrilled to share some exciting news! Twitch is eager to assist in the expansion of your sanctuary, and as a demonstration of their support, they will be generously donating an astounding $100,000 to Alveus Sanctuary.
Maya appeared noticeably stunned by the announcement and hugged her fellow host tightly, trying hard to keep her emotions in check as she expressed gratitude for the platform’s kindness.
She chuckled, “They failed to mention it to me, but I wasn’t aware they were taking that action. Oh my goodness! That was absolutely amazing. Thank you incredibly much… In truth, we wouldn’t have our organization without Twitch. I constructed it upon the foundation of Twitch. …I can’t express enough gratitude.
Later, Maya expressed her gratitude to Twitch once more through a tweet, playfully predicting that she would be tearful for the following five weekdays.
