The popular cooking show “MasterChef” will be returning for its 15th season on Fox. Moreover, former contestant from “Top Chef,” Tiffany Derry, has been announced as a new judge for this upcoming season.
For Season 15, the central idea is “Twin Stars.” Teams made up of home cooks, such as couples, relatives, friends, and even ex-spouses, will team up to compete, all aiming for the $250,000 grand prize. Additionally, this season brings back the challenge known as the Pressure Test.
Derry, slated to judge alongside Joe Bastianich and Gordon Ramsay, previously competed on Season 7 of Bravo’s “Top Chef.” She placed fifth overall but was adored by viewers, earning the title of ‘Fan Favorite.’ Since then, she has graced various cooking shows such as “Chopped,” “Bar Rescue,” “Cutthroat Kitchen,” “Worst Cooks in America,” “Bobby’s Triple Threat” and “Great American Recipe.” In 2022, she was nominated for the James Beard Awards in two categories: Best Southwestern Chef and Best New Restaurant for Roots Southern Table in Dallas.
