Figuring out the right package is crucial in Schedule 1, but sometimes, mistakes happen.

When you’ve found your customer, bought seeds for optimal mixes, and are all set to move to the packing station, there’s one more task left: choosing the right packaging. Sometimes, due to exhaustion or lack of sleep, your character (or you) may accidentally pick the incorrect package for a batch.

Luckily, Schedule 1 offers a method for unpacking merchandise, yet, much like learning how to drop objects without breaking them, the process isn’t self-explanatory at first glance.

How to unpackage products

You can unpackage drugs at the Packaging Station. To do so, follow these steps:

  1. Head to the Packaging Station.
  2. Drag the packaged goods to the output socket.
  3. Click on the blue arrow labeled “PACKAGE.” This action will reverse the arrow’s direction, change its color to red, and modify the text to “UNPACKAGE.”
  4. Click the orange “UNPACK” button below to confirm the action.

If the button stays gray, ensure you clear any containers like bags or jars from the Packaging port. The system operates effectively only when the port is entirely vacant, so for now, you can move them momentarily to your inventory.

“Unpackaged items won’t fit” error

When attempting to remove several medications from a container simultaneously, you might encounter an error message stating “The items can’t fit when not packaged.” This issue can be annoying, but it’s simple to bypass: just drag the unpackaged item (for example, OG Kush) before proceeding with your actions.

The problem occurs when your OG Kush pile exceeds its limit of 20 items before you finish unpacking all the jars. To address this, transfer the unpacked goods to your inventory once they reach 20, then carry on with unpacking.

If you have a lot of items to unpack, it’s likely that your storage space will become full quickly. Therefore, keep some shelves handy for organization purposes.
