Marvel Warns Avengers: Doomsday Set Leaker After Viral Video Scandal!

A Marvel enthusiast who secretly entered the set of Avengers: Doomsday and posted a viral video has been formally cautioned by the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as stated in their recent announcement.

It’s not surprising at all that information about the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe film, Avengers: Doomsday, is being closely guarded. What we do have knowledge of is that this movie will feature a multitude of superheroes, almost as if they were grabbing every one available except for those in the kitchen cupboard, for an epic battle reminiscent of Endgame.

Additionally, it’s worth noting that Robert Downey Jr., known for his portrayal of Tony Stark, is switching roles to play Doctor Doom in the upcoming franchise. Interestingly, production is underway right now in London, UK, but a dedicated fan somehow managed to sneak onto the set.

As the enthusiast known as @theyneversawitcomingg, I took to TikTok to share a thrilling video of an intriguing set, which instantly captured everyone’s attention. Unfortunately, the video was taken down, but I didn’t let that stop me – I re-shared it on Instagram. Now, it seems Marvel has noticed and is reportedly involved!

Avengers: Doomsday leaker receives “first formal threat”

On Wednesday (May 21), the individual responsible for leaking information posted an Instagram Story, saying, “Got my initial ‘official warning.’ I could be in trouble.” So far, Marvel has remained silent regarding this matter; however, it’s plausible that the studio may have taken some action.

In their biography, it’s mentioned that a video was taken down and will now be shared on Instagram instead. This announcement has sparked a flurry of comments from concerned fans, who are advising caution.

One person cautioned, “If it’s legitimate, proceed with caution, as they could potentially take legal action against you, a fact you are aware of,” while another simply put it as, “They might be taking him to court for everything he owns.

One individual remarked, “Absolutely, Kevin Feige will undoubtedly track you down,” while another concurred, “I’m afraid you’re in trouble now.

In addition to sharing a video depicting a bar located within the Marvel cityscape of Madripoor, the user also posted what seemed to be a blueprint of Annie Reynolds’ residence – the mother of Bob Reynolds from the Thunderbolts team. Yet, this particular post appears to have been taken down.

While some comments might be playful, disclosing footage from a Marvel film set may lead to severe legal penalties. Disney and Marvel Studios are well-known for safeguarding their creative works, and distributing unauthorized content can potentially lead to legal action.

Based on the method used to gather the video, an individual might be subjected to criminal charges for trespassing, potential lawsuits for violating copyright, and even legal action related to the exposure of confidential information.

It’s not unprecedented for Marvel to take action against individuals who leak information. For instance, in 2023, they sought a DMCA subpoena against Reddit to reveal the identities of those responsible for leaking Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania dialogue before its premiere.

In another instance similar to this, The Expendables 3 was illegally posted online prior to its release, causing Lionsgate to take legal action against unknown uploaders for compensation. They argue that the early leak negatively influenced the film’s box office earnings. As for Marvel or Disney, it remains unclear if they will pursue this new case further than just issuing a warning.

The epic film “Avengers: Doomsday” hits theaters on May 1, 2026. In the meantime, delve into all the information we’ve gathered about “Avengers: Secret Wars,” “The Fantastic Four: First Steps,” and don’t forget to explore our comprehensive ranking of every Marvel Cinematic Universe movie!
