Marvel Snap Players Baffled By Brooklyn Bridge Location Change Visual Bug

As a seasoned Marvel enthusiast and card game aficionado, I must say this content is a treasure trove for any Marvel Snap player! The development roadmap and upcoming bundles have me eagerly anticipating the future updates, especially the November and December 2023 Season Pass leaks.

In the Marvel Snap’s September 2024 season, titled “The Spider-Season,” more locations will be included in battles and conquest matches during friendly games. Starting from September 11th, 2024, one of these new locations, the Brooklyn Bridge, will serve as the spotlight for 24 hours. During this period, certain move cards could potentially gain an advantage due to a specific requirement associated with the Brooklyn Bridge location.

In Marvel Snap, the Brooklyn Bridge spot restricts players from playing cards there for two straight turns. This means that players need to come up with creative solutions to place cards at this site (like using Jeff the Baby Land Shark as an example). However, a visual glitch in the game caused confusion among players when the Brooklyn Bridge location was altered, leading some to become confused and unable to play properly.

As a thrilled fan, I can’t contain my excitement as I step into one of the game-changing locations: the iconic Brooklyn Bridge in Marvel Snap, making its grand debut on September 11th, 2024! For an entire day, this location will serve as the Featured Location, giving us players a chance to master its unique mechanics.

As reported in a Reddit post, a player utilized Psylocke and Gwenpool during Turn 6 (T6), and at Turn 5 (T5), the setting had been altered to Limbo. However, when they returned there on Turn 7 (T7), it wasn’t Limbo anymore; instead, it wouldn’t allow them to play cards on the location that was no longer referred to as the Brooklyn Bridge.

They also mentioned that they had no intention of utilizing the Limbo site, preferring instead to focus on Arnim Zola for Symbiote Spider-Man. This decision was independent of their feelings about Limbo. However, if a card were required at Limbo, they would have been displeased. Interestingly, some viewers suggested that this visual effect persists even after the location change and won’t hinder players from placing cards there.

A similar post on the subreddit suggested that even though the Brooklyn bridge transformed into Limbo, a player couldn’t play cards there for two consecutive turns. However, during our testing sessions, we found it possible to have Magik in our opening hand and reveal the Brooklyn Bridge as the location on Turn 1. This setup allowed us to play the card on Turn 3.

As I shifted the Brooklyn Bridge location in my game, I’m pleased to share that I didn’t encounter the visual glitch some players have been complaining about online – yay! This means I can continue enjoying the card game on the Limbo location in upcoming rounds. It’s puzzling why a few gamers have run into this issue, but here’s what I suggest: Make sure your game is updated on your device (Android, iOS, or PC via Steam). If the glitch persists, don’t hesitate to submit a support ticket for further assistance.
