As someone who’s spent countless hours battling it out in various online games, I must say that this Marvel Rivals tier list has certainly piqued my interest! It seems that with great power comes great responsibility… and sometimes, not-so-great stats!

Marvel Rivals is a widely played PvP (Player versus Player) Hero Shooter, boasting more than 30 diverse characters straight from the Marvel comics universe, such as Iron Man, Spider-Man, and many others you might recognize. However, not every hero is equally powerful; some selections are superior to others. To assist you in picking the optimal heroes, we’ve prepared a detailed Marvel Rivals tier list, covering all the characters currently in play.

The above tier list gives you an overall view of how every character is ranked in Marvel Rivals. The S-tier characters are arguably the best choice for every matchup and can be considered meta picks, while the D-tier ones aren’t very useful and should be generally avoided in matchups.

To achieve success in player versus player scenarios, it’s not just about using any character; instead, mastering those characters who are highly effective is key. By dedicating your efforts to honing your skills with top-performing characters, you’ll find climbing the ranked matches significantly smoother.

S Tier – Best Characters in Marvel Rivals

+ Arguably the best support hero in Marvel Rivals.
Adam WarlockStrategist+ Can provide a lot of healing, and even revive teammates.
+ Can spawn anywhere on the map, great for tactical advantage.
+ DPS, HP, and Mobility are great.
Moon KnightDuelist+ Exceptional DPS at any range, with high ATK Speed.
+ Great at Crowd Control with tons of CC in skillset.
+ Ultimate can kill almost any hero in AoE. One of the, if not, the best DPS hero.
Scarlet WitchDuelist+ Basic attack can auto-aim, with unlimited ammo. Pretty much a broken basic attack.
+ Attacks deals low DPS but is exceptional at taking out tanks.
+ Can temporarily become immune, with great mobility.
+ Ultimate has insanely high burst damage and AoE, though slow charge up.

A Tier

Doctor StrangeVanguard+ Can teleport heroes around the map through portals. A lot of tactical potential.
+ Provides decent shielding to allies. Damage and HP are also good.
+ Ultimate skill is unique and has very strong AoE potential.
MagikDuelist+ Extremely high damage from Normal Skill.
+ Probably one of the strongest close-combat heroes with decent CC.
Lacks mobility, and sprinting.
Iron FistDuelist+ Similar to Magik, high damage, exceptional at close combat.
+ Extremely high mobility, including triple jumps and wall running.
Relies on combos to deal high damage. Lacks AoE.
ThorVanguard+ High damage, and great defense. Overall a good tanky fighter.
+ Can attack from both close as well as range. With AoE on Ultimate skill.
Skills have a higher cooldown.
HawkeyeDuelist+ One of the best marksmen, with both burst and AoE normal attacks.
+ Exceptional at long range and 1v1s, but lacks any defense.
Not quite beginner-friendly. Needs a bit of practice.

B Tier

+ Great DPS, but only at close range.
Skills don’t have much range and no AoE.
MagnetoVanguard+ Great defense, and support skills. He can shield himself as well as his allies.
+ His basic attack and skills deal decently good damage.
Ultimate takes a while to charge, and can even self-destruct if not timed correctly.
Jeff The Land SharkStrategist+ Can heal allies as well as deal damage.
+ Gains temporary immunity and self-heals during sprint skill.
Lacks in DPS and amount of healing.
HelaDuelist+ Has decently high DPS, but slow ATK Speed.
+ Can provide some crowd control, but gets outclassed.
Weak ultimate, easy to shut down.
Iron ManDuelist+ Great damage, with tons of AoE potential.
Low HP and defense, easy to kill if not positioned correctly.
Too many skills and combinations. Not beginner-friendly.
Black PantherDuelist+ Good damage dealer, but only useful at close range.
Lacks defense, somewhat of a glass cannon.
Ultimate skill is weak, in comparison to others.
Star-LordDuelist+ Decently high basic attack damage. Good at mid-range.
Skills aren’t that useful at long range.

C Tier

Smoke bomb is not useful, turret is easy to destroy.
Ultimate skill requires a lot of aiming and positioning to be of value.
Captain AmericaVanguard+ Skills decent CC and good defense.
Lacks almost any range and AoE potential.
DPS is very low, and not good at supporting allies.
PsylockeDuelist+ Strong basic attack, that can reduce the CD of skills.
Great at 1v1s, but not against multiple enemies.
Ultimate has extremely high burst damage but becomes vulnerable after casting.
Cloak and DaggerStrategist+ Can provide decent healing to allies.
DPS and healing are quite low. Outclassed by other healers.
Too many skills, low HP, not beginner-friendly.
MantisStrategist+ Can provide a ton of healing and even damage boost to allies.
Lacks almost any offensive abilities, can only heal.
No versatility, defense, or mobility.
Rocket RacoonStrategist+ Can heal, revive, and provide damage boost to allies.
Decent DPS, but no defensive capability.

Can provide CC, but requires accurate aiming to be useful.
NamorDuelistDependant on summons to deal most of the DPS. They die quickly.
Can go immune but for a very short duration.
Basic attack deals good damage but has a very slow attack speed, and is easy to miss.
