Marvel Rivals' Thor To Bring All The Love And Thunder In New Skin Reveal

Around 12:00 AM on November 7th, 2024, NetEase Games posted their most recent video featuring the Vanguard class character, Thor. Alongside this video, they also made a fresh daily announcement. Just like with previous announcements for Hulk, Iron Man, Magik, and Rocket Raccoon, this was another cosmetic update, specifically a new skin designed for the Norse god, Thor.

Similar to Rocket Raccoon unveiling his new appearance the day before, Thor’s debut skin was influenced by the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The name of the skin itself suggests that it is modeled after the armor worn by Thor in the 2022 film Thor: Love and Thunder, showcasing its vibrant colors and majestic quality.

After many battles and relinquishing his position as King of Asgard, Thor found himself at the junction of infinity. As the powerful God of Thunder prepares to reclaim his power and heritage when the game is released in December 2024, it remains unclear whether players can earn the skin as a reward by completing Galacta’s Quest missions or purchasing it from the in-game store.
