However, nothing has quite stirred my excitement like the imminent launch of Marvel Rivals. With each passing day and every new announcement, my anticipation for this superhero team-based PvP shooter is reaching new heights.
As we move into day three of the worldwide anticipation for the upcoming multiplayer shooter game Marvel Rivals by NetEase Games, the developers have shared their latest updates. Earlier, executive producer Danny Koo announced on Discord (credit to Miller Ross) that players can look forward to daily news updates leading up to its release on December 6, 2024. So far, these announcements have unveiled fresh costumes for both the Hulk and Iron Man.

Accompanying this electrifying character reveal is the latest game update, which drops yet another stunning cosmetic right into our eager hands.

A new day has dawned, bringing yet another exciting update from Marvel Rivals on their social media platforms. Following the reveal of fresh looks for the Hulk and the “Green Scar” skin, as well as the “Superior Iron Man” skin for Iron Man, it’s officially confirmed that Duelist Magik will also be receiving a new cosmetic – the Eldritch Armor skin – available at the game’s launch.
The Eldritch Armor skin is modeled after the original armor with the same name that Magik acquired in New Mutants (1983) comic issue #65 after summoning her Soulsword. This armor will be featured in Marvel Rivals, and fans who main Magik can expect to get their hands on this striking silver skin upon release; however, specifics regarding how to acquire it are yet to be disclosed at the moment of writing.
More announcements and special unveilings are on their way from the developer, as we get closer to the worldwide release of Marvel Rivals for consoles and PCs in December 2024. There’s a buzz online about potential news regarding a new playable character or possibly confirming Moon Knight as part of Marvel Rivals, given his teaser appearance in Psylocke’s Character Reveal trailer back in September 2024.
