Marvel’s Rival game series unveiled a striking new character skin for Invisible Woman, turning her into the relentless character known as Malice. Set to launch on January 10, this inaugural release of Season 1 promises to intensify the action on the battlefield.

As a diehard fan, I can’t contain my excitement as Marvel Rivals, the exhilarating hero shooter that’s sweeping the globe, made its grand debut on December 6, 2024. This game shattered expectations, reaching an astounding 10 million players in just three days, and by mid-December, it had doubled that number! It’s a gaming phenomenon that refuses to slow down.

Character skins inspired by the Marvel Cinematic Universe and boasting deep references to comic books have emerged as a significant selling point. Notable examples include Hawkeye’s Galactic Fangs and Hela’s eerie default appearance. These skins spark discussion, but some feel a $20 price tag is too steep. Nevertheless, fans remain eager to unveil their favorite characters in their iconic outfits.

The malevolent aspect of Invisible Woman, known as Malice, is brought forth from a darker side of her character. This alternate personality first appeared in Fantastic Four issue #280 (1961). Through Psycho-Man’s manipulation, Susan Richards transforms into the “Queen of Hatred.

As a devoted fan, I can’t help but admire the unique twist in Sue Storm’s attire, which exudes a captivating blend of Scarlet Witch and Psylocke styles, revealing more than her traditional Fantastic Four ensemble. This new look truly encapsulates Malice within her, amplifying her raw fury and transforming her force fields into formidable tools of aggression.

Enthusiasts are going wild over this new character. One exclaimed, “I really need this skin!” Another agreed, “Her backstory may be sad, but her outfit is perfect. They’re definitely hitting all the right notes.” In essence, she’s an undeniable badass.

Kicking off Marvel Rivals Season 1 with malice sets the stage quite dramatically. Joining Mr. Fantastic, Sue Storm takes center stage in the premiere of the Fantastic Four in January.

In February, The Thing and Human Torch will team up, but until then, expect this character’s skin to cause trouble in every battle. Get ready to don your gear and confront Sue’s ominous side as Season 1 premieres this coming Friday.
