Marvel Rivals adding improved performance setting in Season 1

In the latest episode of Dev Vision 3 video blog, the Lead Combat Designer of Marvel Rivals, Zhiyong, highlighted several significant enhancements in the pipeline. Of particular excitement for users with less powerful computer systems is one major improvement that’s certain to bring delight.

Zhiyong reassured everyone that he’s taken note of the community’s opinions about our favorite game. To cater to competitive players, we’re introducing a new graphics setting that boosts frame rates for smoother gameplay,” he said.

It’s uncertain just how much this Frame Per Second (FPS) increase will make a difference. But considering recent findings linking ability effects to frame rate, it’s likely to be the preferred choice until a solution is found.

Additionally, developers have announced that they will add customizable mouse acceleration options soon. Initially, players had to modify the game’s files manually to adjust this setting, but with the launch of Season 1, Zhiyong assures us that such manual tweaking won’t be necessary anymore.

To wrap up the latest updates, the developer also verified that a Streamer Mode will soon be introduced, expected to debut “during the initial phase of Season 1.” Previously, we identified the absence of a Streamer Mode as one of the game’s major oversights at launch, and it appears the developers have recognized this too, swiftly addressing the issue.
