Marvel 1943: Rise Of Hydra Delayed

2025 release for Marvel’s 1943: Rise of Hydra has been postponed; instead, it will be launched in the early months of 2026, as confirmed by its publisher Skydance.

The company stated, “Granting ourselves extra time enables us to refine the details even further, ensuring we deliver an outstanding experience – one that aligns perfectly with our aspirations. We’ve got some thrilling updates coming up, so stay tuned for more news!

According to past updates, this game takes place during World War II. It was developed by Amy Hennig (from Uncharted) and her team at Skydance New Media. The plot revolves around Captain America, Black Panther, and their allies, who are trying to free Paris from the Axis powers. Initially, Captain America and Black Panther have differing views, leading to a quick escalation of tension between them. In no time, the ruler of Wakanda (Black Panther) and the original Avenger find themselves in conflict with each other.

In this game, you’ll delve into occupied Paris, taking on the roles of Gabriel Jones, an American soldier and member of the Howling Commandos, and Nanali, a Wakandan operative secretly in the city. The depiction of Captain America here is that of a younger Steve Rogers, while the figure concealed within the Wakandan armor is Azzuri, the forefather of today’s Black Panther, T’Challa.

Rise of Hydra” is under development using Unreal Engine 5, and it leverages the MetaHuman Animator tool for creating more realistic character movements and expressions.
