Mark Ruffalo Says Kamala Harris ‘Crushed’ Trump in the Debate and ‘Baited Him’ to Sputter Out; Nick Offerman Calls It ‘A Good Old-Fashioned Ass-Whupping’

As a lifelong political enthusiast and a Hollywood insider who’s seen it all, I can confidently say that the recent debate between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump was nothing short of spectacular. Having witnessed countless debates over the years, I must admit that this one left me on the edge of my seat, especially with Mark Ruffalo’s eloquent description of the event as akin to watching Muhammad Ali in action.

Following her initial presidential debate against Donald Trump, Kamala Harris received widespread acclaim from the Hollywood community, who saw it as a significant victory for her campaign. Mark Ruffalo, for one, expressed his initial apprehension about the debate but was pleasantly surprised by its outcome. On X (formerly Twitter), he stated that the results were nothing short of excellent.

In my perspective, it’s undeniable that Kamala possesses a compelling vision for our nation’s future and her ability to elevate America is unparalleled. Moreover, she demonstrates an extraordinary balance and intelligence that far surpasses Trump’s. To put it simply, she outshone him in their encounter.

He compared it to observing Muhammad Ali in action: she provoked him, allowing him to throw wide punches before exhausting himself,” was his subsequent comment on X.

In simpler terms, Nick Offerman, who is well-known for his role in “Parks and Recreation”, expressed his support for Kamala Harris quite straightforwardly by saying, “That was an old-fashioned thrashing.

Sheryl Lee-Ralph, winner of an Emmy for ‘Abbott Elementary’, stated that Donald Trump appears to be feeble-minded, unintelligent, and misguided.

Jimmy Kimmel responded to the debate by sharing a meme featuring Donald Trump and Kamala Harris as characters from the “Inside Out” movie series by Disney and Pixar. In this depiction, Trump was portrayed as Anger, while Harris was shown as Joy.

Without a doubt, the most notable response from Hollywood following the debate came from Taylor Swift. She promptly endorsed Harris for president shortly after the debate concluded. The music icon lauded Harris, stating that she “fights tirelessly for the rights and issues I passionately advocate for. I believe she is a skilled and steady leader, and I am confident we can achieve far greater things as a nation if guided by wisdom rather than turmoil.

In his review of the debate, film critic Owen Gleiberman from EbMaster’s expressed that “Harris, as the prosecutor, entered the discussion armed and ready. She didn’t just persistently argue her points with legal fervor. Her words were imbued with a palpable rage, a strong conviction, an almost musical intensity, as she gestured passionately, much like a conductor.

It’s true that I had some apprehensions about this debate, but it’s evident now that Kamala not only possesses a clear vision for our nation’s future and improving America, but she also demonstrated an exceptional level of calmness and intelligence. She outperformed Trump significantly in the debate. #Debate2024
