Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree showcases its Talent Trees in a new trailer

Developers Primal Game Studio, in collaboration with publisher Knight’s Peak, have unveiled the second set of promotional videos for the 2.5D action RPG titled “Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree“. The latest trailer spotlights the game’s Talent Tree system. Last week saw the release of a previous trailer, which highlighted gear and progression within the game.

As an avid gamer, I’m thrilled about Mandragora! This game offers six unique character classes, each with its own Talent Tree that includes stat boosts, passive benefits, and active abilities. The twist? You’re not locked into one Talent Tree as you advance in the game. Instead, you have the freedom to invest your points into any Talent Tree that suits your playstyle. Plus, if you fancy a change or want to tinker with your character build, you can even refund and redistribute your talent points! What a delightful way to experiment and customize my gaming experience!

The game “Whispers of the Witch Tree: Mandragora” is scheduled for launch on April 17th, and it will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, as well as PC platforms such as Steam and Epic.

In this new installment of their ongoing series, Primal Game Studio and Knights Peak delve further into the upcoming game, “Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree.” The latest video focuses on Talent Tree Progression, providing an in-depth look at the diverse skill customization features. It showcases how various abilities and enhancements mold distinctive player strategies.

The Talent Tree system provides numerous methods for enhancing your character’s abilities, offering everything from formidable fighting styles to robust defensive perks, enabling you to fine-tune your character’s skills and respond effectively to the threats in Faelduum.

In the enigmatic, shadowy realm of Faelduum, Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree skillfully combines Soulslike combat mechanics with open-ended exploration. This game promises tough battles, intricate character development, and a tale that evolves based on your decisions. It boasts six diverse character classes, each offering special talent branches and more than 200 active skill enhancements. The narrative is penned by Brian Mitsoda (of Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines fame), while the eerie soundtrack is composed by Christos Antoniou and performed by the FILMharmonic Orchestra of Prague.

The game titled “Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree” is scheduled to debut on April 17, 2025, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. You can now pre-order it through Steam and Epic Games Store.
