Man Who Crashed Car Outside Jennifer Aniston’s Bel Air Home Charged With Stalking and Vandalism

On Wednesday, a man from Mississippi was charged with vandalism and stalking after he drove his car through the main entrance of Jennifer Aniston’s residence in Bel Air, as reported by the LA District Attorney’s Office.

Harassment can rapidly progress into harmful, aggressive behavior, posing a risk to both victims and our communities, as stated by District Attorney Nathan Hotchman regarding the case. My office is resolute in vigorously pursuing charges against those who engage in stalking or instill fear in others, ensuring that wrongdoers are brought to justice.

Jimmy Wayne Carwyle is accused of committing one felony count each for stalking and vandalism, along with the additional charge of threatening someone with serious physical harm. His court date is scheduled for May 8, with his bail set at $150,000. If found guilty, he could spend up to three years in a state prison.

Based on statements by the Los Angeles District Attorney, it is alleged that Carwyle harassed Aniston between March 1, 2023, and May 5 of this year. This involved consistently sending her unwanted emails, voicemails, and social media messages without her prior consent.

On May 5, around 12:20 PM, Carwyle collided his vehicle with the main entrance gate of Aniston’s Bel Air property and came to a halt in the driveway. A security guard detained him before the police arrived at the location.

Hochman expressed gratitude towards law enforcement and the Stalking and Threat Assessment Team, specifically acknowledging Deputy District Attorney Sam Hulefeld, for their exceptional efforts in handling this case. By collaborating, we’re successfully removing potentially harmful individuals from our community.
