Litmus has just launched Mamon King, a new game where you raise monsters. It’s available now for Nintendo Switch and PC through Steam.
This independent game was created by Yoshinama, a Japanese content creator. Yoshinama is a big fan of the Monster Rancher series, and that game heavily influenced this one. However, instead of real-time battles, Mamon King uses turn-based combat where players select attacks and skills represented by cards.
I’m so excited to share the official screenshots and details for Mamon King! The best part? It’s available in both Japanese and English, so everyone can enjoy it!

Aim to become the strongest king with uniquely charming monsters!
Players have a unique connection with powerful creatures called Mamons, which are summoned from another world. You’ll need to nurture and train these Mamons, using both kindness and discipline to help them grow!
Okay, so I’ve been grinding and winning tournaments for ages, and finally, after taking down the toughest Mamon boss, I officially became the Mamon King! It’s basically like being crowned the world champion, which is awesome.
*38 Unique Mamons
Mammon come in many different forms, each with unique strengths and a different lifespan. Understanding these differences is key to winning.
*Over 170 Skills
Mamon isn’t just about hitting and blocking – it adds a lot of strategic thinking to battles. As you use skills repeatedly, they grow and improve, letting you create incredibly strong weapons.
*Experience the Ultimate Tactical Battle in 1-on-1 Command Combat
Success in battle isn’t just about offense, defense, or boosting/lowering stats. Every skill uses stamina, and stronger skills require a lot more – sometimes at a significant cost. When and how you use your abilities will ultimately determine the outcome.
Dive into a uniquely strategic battle system where you command your forces one-on-one. It’s easy to pick up, but offers incredibly deep and challenging gameplay.
*Strengthen Your Mamon Through Training, Tournaments, and Expeditions
Improving your Mamon isn’t just about training; it also involves choosing activities to do at home each week. Mamon gets stronger by competing in tournaments and by going on Expeditions – adventures through unexplored lands where you can discover ancient Mamon, played like a board game.
*Your Unique Mamon
Your Mamon’s strength grows with your abilities and a bit of good fortune. By passing on your training through Inheritance Summoning, your Mamon becomes more powerful. Plus, with the aid of an unconventional scientist or a dedicated trainer, your Mamon could even unlock abilities beyond what it was originally capable of.
The monster-raising game set on a ranch has evolved!
Experience a new kind of raising in Mamon King!
