Compile Heart has shared more details about their upcoming 2D action RPG titled Magic Librarian Ariana ~The Books of the Seven Heroes~. The company posted a new trailer that outlines the game’s main features, as well as information on its limited editions and pre-order incentives. Furthermore, they have officially announced the release date for Japan which is now set for August 21st.

Information about special offers for purchasing the game has been posted on its official Japanese site. The Digital Deluxe version includes extra perks like a digital art book and soundtrack album. Additionally, the physical Special Edition comes with similar extras in physical format (book and CD), along with an exclusive quill pen as a unique bonus.

Purchasing the physical copy of the game ahead of time will reward you with a “Bookmark of the Sea” as an extra in-game content. Furthermore, Compile Heart is partnering with numerous retailers in Japan to distribute the game along with unique bonuses from each store. While many stores provide basic merchandise such as posters and acrylic goods, two stand out for offering exclusive in-game DLC items related to their specific stores: these themed DLCs are not available elsewhere.
