Mafia: The Old Country is looking more and more like Uncharted and Tomb Raider. New trailer is packed with Nathan Drake and Lara Croft-style scenes

Build-up for the highly anticipated release of Mafia: The Old Country‘s fourth installment is growing, with another trailer unveiled online! The upcoming gangster game from Hangar 13 studio appears to draw inspiration heavily from action-adventure games akin to Uncharted.

For the past year, we have been aware that the new game, “Mafia: The Old Country“, will not mimic the disappointing reception of its third iteration. The latest game trailer is filled with action sequences – leaving one to ponder: what’s missing? Car and horse chases. Shootouts, hand-to-hand combat, hidden assassinations. Not to mention the chases through Sicilian streets and building jumps that would make Lara Croft or Nathan Drake proud. Enzo’s escapades seem to be venturing into a realm where competition won’t be GTA 6, but action-adventure games instead.

This year on August 8th, the game titled “Mafia: The Old Country” will be officially released. It’s planned to debut on personal computers (PC), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S gaming systems.
