For the first time in more than ten years, Madden is making its comeback on a Nintendo console, specifically the Switch 2, which will be released in August. You can now preorder the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Madden NFL 26 at Amazon and Walmart for $70, which is also the same price as preorders for PS5 and Xbox Series X versions. Alongside the standard edition, Madden 26 will offer a Digital Deluxe Edition and an MVP Bundle, with the latter providing access to EA Sports College Football 26 on PS5 or Xbox Series as well.
This year, EA Sports’ popular annual football simulation game, Madden, is making a comeback on a Nintendo console for the first time since Madden NFL 13. Interestingly, Madden 26 will not be playable on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, a trend that has been ongoing since Madden NFL 13. In an ironic twist, Madden 13 was the last game in the series to be released on a Nintendo console (Wii U).
