You can get your hands on Madden 25 Mobile starting on the 8th of August, 2024. This game will be compatible with Android and iOS devices and has been developed by EA Tiburon.

Since 2014, the Madden Mobile series has been continuously running, and on August 8th, it will kick off its 11th season with Madden 25 Mobile. While veterans of Madden Mobile may recognize the overall experience, there are some fresh elements that deserve attention before you dive in.

Madden 25 Mobile Gameplay

Previously mentioned, Madden 25 Mobile functions similarly to Ultimate Team in its gameplay mechanics. Essentially, you assemble a team of players by opening packs containing players and participating in various events. Daily objectives are provided each day to encourage regular play, making it essential for players to engage daily. Single-player or multiplayer mode is available in Madden 25 Mobile, offering rewards that can be used to acquire more player packs and enhance your roster.

One of the latest additions to Madden 25 Mobile’s gameplay is the Season Team Training system, offering a fresh approach for enhancing your players.

Using every Field Pass, you gain the ability to boost the Overall Rating (OVR) of all categories in your teams, plus a specific position or group of positions. For instance, enhancing your Season Team Training in Offense to Level 2 rewards you with a +2% OVR increase for every offensive player in your squad. If you upgrade your Season Team training for a role such as Halfback (HB), then you’ll receive the same bonus for all HBs in your roster.

Consequently, you’ll have multiple methods to enhance your team’s players. You could focus on upgrading only the quarterbacks, or choose to improve the entire offense, but either way, your players’ performance ratings will see an improvement.

Improving your Season Team Training Rank necessitates earning Points and Coins. You can accumulate these points by engaging in various modes such as Journeys, Madden Base, Field Pass Milestones, among others. Additionally, each Field pass offers rewards for reaching specific Season Team Training rank milestones. These player rewards can be traded up to secure one of the highest Overview (OVR) players available at launch.

In every new season, players get a standard starting playbook and an additional “extended” playbook that’s already chosen for them. You have the option to tailor this extended playbook by adding any plays you acquire throughout the game. However, each playbook has a set budget, so not all powerful plays can be included in a single playbook. This prevents players from using overpowered (OP) plays excessively.

Boosting your account’s rank enhances your Playbook allowance. Moreover, fresh plays are introduced every month alongside each Field Pass update. Occasionally, events and store deals also provide additional plays. Some of these plays offer +OVR advantages to your whole squad when activated.

Additionally, Madden 25 Mobile allows you to design and store several playbook configurations that can be allocated to your teams.

Madden 25 Mobile Gameplay Rollover

It’s good news for Madden 24 Mobile gamers! Most of your players will automatically move over to Madden 25 Mobile. The exception being Starter Rarity players. However, the Overall Ratings (OVR) of these transferred players will be adjusted based on their rarity.

  • Uncommon – 63
  • Rare – 64
  • Epic – 65
  • Iconic – 70
  • Iconic Foil – 72
  • Mythic – 74
  • Marvel – 74
  • Madden Max Foil – 79

In contrast, any coin or league tokens acquired in Madden 24 Mobile won’t carry over to Madden 25. Furthermore, elements such as Training Points, weights, headsets, Bronze, Silver, and Gold Level tokens, and Coaches will be eliminated from the game. To wrap it up, Core and Event Stamina will revert back to their original values.

As a long-time Madden fan with years of experience playing the console versions, I have mixed feelings about the upcoming release of Madden 25 Mobile. On one hand, I’m excited to see what new features this year’s version will bring to the mobile platform and how it compares to its console counterpart. However, as someone who has been disappointed by some rough releases in the past, I can’t help but feel a sense of caution and skepticism. Only time will tell if the developers have addressed the issues that have plagued previous versions and delivered a polished product that lives up to the Madden name.

Meanwhile, take a look at some fresh details on Madden 25, particularly regarding Superstar and other aspects. With the upcoming Madden games about to debut, there’s still plenty we’re eagerly waiting to learn. By the way, this week also brought news on Ultimate Team Details for the console version of Madden 25.
