As a fan who has followed Fresskowy’s journey since his early days in competitive League of Legends, I can’t help but feel a mix of empathy and anticipation for this talented mid laner. Having proven himself in lower tiers, Fresskowy took a giant leap when he joined MAD Lions KOI, only to face the harsh realities of the big leagues. Despite a promising start, the team’s performance throughout the year was inconsistent, culminating in an early exit from Worlds 2024.
MAD Lions’ mid laner, Fresskowy, was released from the team just after they failed to advance in Worlds 2024. His performance was criticized and he struggled to adapt to playing Yone, a top-tier mid lane champion on the Worlds patch.
Consequently, he’s been given the freedom to consider alternative teams, which is often referred to as “exploring options” when a team wants to transfer a player’s contract. His last match was played on October 7, and surprisingly, he declared his intention to find a new team only three days later, on October 10.
Hi there!

Fresskowy started as a newcomer in the LEC, having competitive League of Legends experience since 2017. Joining the top-tier MAD Lions, he had much to demonstrate. For much of the season, it seemed that this team was heading towards being unsuccessful.
Initially placing second in the LEC Winter 2024, they struggled to secure a podium position throughout the remainder of the year, not achieving one until the Season Finals. However, their third place finish at the finals was enough to secure them a spot at Worlds 2024, despite having a negative win rate for the entire season.
The approach for qualification received significant negative feedback from fans of the League of Legends Championship (LEC), as numerous individuals worried that MAD Lions might struggle to leave an impact at the 2024 international tournament. Despite advancing past the Play-Ins, MAD Lions ultimately failed to secure a victory in the Swiss stage following their defeat against GAM, a team representing Vietnam’s VCS region.

Despite some impressive showings at Worlds 2024, Fresskowy struggled to capitalize on his leads and was less effective with Yone, who was one of the game’s strongest champions at the time. Consequently, opportunities to explore other possibilities have been presented to him.
This mid laner’s current contract runs through 2026, so any team interested in acquiring him might face a significant fee due to the termination clause.
