Chapter 1 – It’s Happening Again

The game starts you off in a desert on a Monday. Keep advancing until a sandstorm kicks up. When signaled, quickly push the screen’s indicated button.

When you regain control in the next segment, turn around and leave the bathroom.

In the corridor, take a left turn and proceed straight ahead. Reach for the note sitting on the railing to your left, and then make your way forward, descending the staircase on your right side.

Moving into the adjacent room, advance until you encounter a small table positioned next to the left wall. Retrieve a paperwork item discarded near the table. Subsequently, grab the house keys from the table and exit through the front door of the house.

Now, it’s Tuesday. Leave the bathroom again, then run when you’re told to.

Tomorrow will be the day next. After you’ve used the restroom one more time, make your way downstairs once more, and then engage with the drawing pad that lies on the floor.

Presently, try the alternate door in this very room to access the basement below. Upon reaching the lower level, make your way to the table positioned against the rear wall, and seize the paperwork items resting upon it.

Go up to the upstairs bathroom, find the keys on the sink, then come back down to the ground floor and unlock the front door again.

It’s now Thursday. Head back downstairs again and answer the phone on the entryway table.

Instead, head back to the basement, focusing on the trapdoor situated near the desk you saw earlier. Opt for descending through it this time.

Chapter 2 – Beyond the Noise

Make your way down the ladder, then pass through the next two doors.

In your living area, grab a piece of paper off the table on the side, then proceed along the hallway that’s situated to its right.

As you descend these stairs, don’t forget to grab a card located in a slot on the wall. Furthermore, make sure to collect a small note that’s resting on the ladder at the foot of the stairs.

Look up at the light above you in the room with the stairs. Notice a hammer there? We need that.

How to get the hammer in Luto

Advance ahead and turn right to locate another table with a cellphone on it. Grab the sketchbook page that’s there, followed by picking up the phone and tap “SOS” three times.

Head back to the spot where you find the stairs, then retrieve the hammer that’s lying on the ground there. You’ll need it momentarily.

Backtrack and take a left into the next hallway this time.

Along this corridor, on your right, you’ll discover a door adorned with numerous clocks. To unlock this door, locate a total of seven timepieces surrounding it.

How to solve the clock door puzzle in Luto

For a clock to count as “found”, you just need to interact with it.

Continue forward into a bathroom. Clock 1 is in the bathtub.

Exit the restroom, proceed along the corridor, and find Clock 2 propped up against a wall beside a vase, near the glass entrance.

Clock 3 is located halfway up the stairs you originally came down.

Now, go over to the spot where you found the phone, and then look upward, specifically between two wooden beams, to locate Clock 4.

Continue past the phone and go down the stairs. Down here, you’ll find Clock 5 in a chair.

Upon exiting the adjacent room, proceed down the corridor until you return to the living room. Notice that clock number 6 is positioned under the side table.

To locate the card, proceed straight from where you are now into the adjacent hallway, then enter the illuminated room on your left side.

Please exit this room through the same entrance, making sure to pause at the barricaded doorway. Remove the nails using the hammer where they are located, then proceed into the room. By the way, clock number 7 is lying down over here on the floor.

Pick up the drawing beside the final clock and the card on a box in this room, then leave.

Return to the clock door, which can now be opened, and enter the next room.

Pick up a ripped note on the left and take the stuffed monkey hanging from the ceiling.

Return to the phone in the hallway. Dial the number 555-1725.

After the dialogue completes, turn and look down the hallway to see a figure that has emerged.

Head into the adjacent room on your right, then proceed along the corridor. Keep going until you spot a small ambulance toy in front of you. Follow this ambulance until it collides with a door, at which point go through the door, and take the stairs.

Take the sketchbook page from the table on the left, then go through the door.

Follow the path until you reach the bathroom again. Pick up the note here, then turn around.

A coin will be floating in front of you now. Move toward it to trigger a scene.

Select any dialogue options here until you wake up inside a cave.

Navigate the cave until you reach a recognizable desert. Just as you did initially in the game, quickly press the screen’s visible button when a sandstorm occurs. Over time, the screen should gradually darken.

Chapter 3 – One More Time

Again, you find yourself in the bathroom. Make your way out, walking down the hall, pausing momentarily to grab a document located on the right side of the corridor before proceeding downstairs.

Grab the keys from the entryway table and leave through the front door.

As a gamer, I’ll proceed by outlining my daily routine. On Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, after taking care of my morning needs, I’ll revisit this document before making my way downstairs, grabbing the keys, and stepping out through the front door.

When Friday arrives, a door on the left in the hallway can be opened to reveal a bedroom.

As a fan, I reach for the sketchbook page sitting on the desk, then engage with the corkboard. I slide the monkey drawing into the small slot located at its lower right corner.

Next, place the stuffed monkey you found earlier on the bed next to the other one.

Avert your gaze for a moment, and lo and behold! The plush monkeys have vanished. Now, you’ll have to search the room to locate them.

Where to find the stuffed monkeys in the bedroom

Look for them first on the shelf located above your computer, followed by a spin. Next, look up at the ceiling fan overhead, then turn around again. After that, search in the laundry basket situated to the left side of the television, and once more, turn around. Lastly, find them on the shelf positioned to the right of the TV. Interact with these items to obtain an eyeball.

Exit the room, head left along the corridor, find the document situated on your right again. Make your way downstairs, get the keys, then step outside via the front entrance.

You find yourself in the bathroom once more. Make your way down the stairs for a second time. Upon reaching the foot of the stairs, pick up the flashlight that’s in front of you and switch it on.

Take the drawing pad from the entrance door, spin around. Get the item with the stamp located by the staircase and examine it, then retrace your steps and return to the corridor.

On the left wall upstairs, you’ll find a series of four photographs arranged in descending order. To obtain a key, please interact with the bottommost (fourth) photo. Additionally, there’s a document you can pick up behind the fallen top photograph.

Head down to the lower level again, and find the small lockbox on the table. Use the key you’ve discovered to unlock it. Inside, you’ll find a miniature door labeled as the Entrance Door – that’s odd.

Pass through what used to be the front door and make your way along a spooky hallway until you find yourself inside an old, decaying home.

Navigate your path through this sequential indoor space, pausing to pick up a card from a trolley made of metal as you proceed, and afterward, descend some steps that lead to another subterranean chamber.

1. Proceed into the cave, walking along its winding passages.

2. Continue onward until you encounter an obstacle: a large storage box barricading the path ahead.

3. Shift that box aside so you can proceed further.

4. Once the way is cleared, step through the now open door.

Back in the house, go downstairs to answer the ringing phone.

Once the conversation ends, keep pressing the button to ward off the darkness as you make your way back to the living room. Along the journey, you’ll notice that every other door you attempt to open will forcefully shut in your presence (during this part of the sequence).

1. Go ahead and open the first door, then proceed down the hall. After opening two more doors, you’ll encounter a figure suspended in mid-air on the opposite side. As you advance, maintain your resistance and keep moving towards that floating figure.

2. First, open the initial door and walk along the passageway. Then, pass through an additional pair of doors to unveil a figure hovering on the other end. Maintain your resolve during this time and continue walking towards the levitating figure.

Interact with the figure and watch the scene here, then walk toward the ladder ahead.

Suddenly, the game will momentarily halt, and it will appear as if you’ve been ejected. Rest assured, this interruption is intentional.

Load back in and press “Continue.”

As you proceed towards the radiant figure in front, strive to hold back. Upon reaching the figure and it vanishing, cease your efforts to resist.

Chapter 1 – It’s Happening Again (revisited)

Guess what? You’re back in the bathroom.

As per my routine, I’m off to the staircase. But these aren’t your ordinary stairs; they seem to stretch endlessly. Keep moving forward, and eventually, you’ll find a gap where you can make your descent.

Chapter 4 – Thanks for Pushing Me

Head forward until you reach a door on the left leading to a room with a blue hue.

Step into the room, locate the sketchpad to your left, and gather it. Pay attention to the empty drawing board on the wall, as we plan to come back for it later.

Leave the room for now.

Keep moving ahead, don’t forget to grab a note located on your right side before you proceed towards the left, past a blocked doorway.

Ahead lies the bathroom, currently containing a bathtub filled with blood. Skip that and turn left at the junction. Ascend the staircase.

Pick up the drawing on the bannister.

Return to the fork and take the right path this time. Walk down the stairs.

Pick up the drawing on the floor.

After that, make your way through this room, following it until you come across a door with an entrance. Interact with the entrance and pick up the Golden Fragment.

Go back upstairs and turn right into a hallway where only one door is cracked open. Enter the room.

Pick up the card on the desk, then go through the next door.

Instead, veer to your left and move forward towards the barricaded doorway up ahead. Prior to getting there, pause and make a right turn to discover a long hallway filled with numerous doors.

At the end of this hallway is a door with a gate. Use the Golden Piece to open it.

Descend the staircase, then engage with the door you see now to obtain the Moon and Sun Knocker. This action will also unveil additional stairs. We’ll be back here soon.

For the moment, retrace your steps to where the path split into two directions, and opt for the route that veers to the right this time. Then, proceed along it until you reach a long hallway adorned with numerous doors.

As you move forward, listen carefully for a door that has a ringing noise inside. You’ll find it as the second one on your right side.

Hang the Moon and Sun Door Knockers, then give them a tap. The door should swing open, so go ahead and step inside. (This version maintains the same meaning but uses more common and conversational language.)

Answer the phone and go through the conversation.

Navigate to that section, and continue until you spot a radiant, blue door at the far end of a corridor. Approach it, however, don’t forget to pick up the sketch on a table located on your right side before reaching it.

Go through the glowing blue door, turn right, and head toward the large gate ahead.

Go ahead and open the gate, then walk through it. Take the path leading down the steps, and retrieve the Silver Token from the sanctuary along the way.

Return to the upper level and retrace your steps. Further ahead, you might catch a spirit moving past a certain door. Proceed through that door, then turn right, and progress towards an open doorway.

In this scenario, the ghost is likely to assault you, leading to a conversation-based sequence. You’ll need to make decisions, after which you’ll find yourself awake in the cave once more.

Keep advancing until you encounter another radiant figure once more. Hold back your actions until you’re with the figure, then cease your resistance.

And you’re back in the bathroom again. Surprise!

Exit the bathroom and make your way back to the room painted a cool blue, which is where you previously noticed the blank spots on the board.

How to solve the drawings puzzle in Luto

You have to place the drawings in the correct spots:

  • “Look for the signs amidst all the noise” – Drawing of Strange Symbols
  • “Find the childhood that hides from pain” – Drawing of Two Monkeys
  • “Escape for the false prison of memories” – Drawing of a Canarian House

Now, please step out of the room and turn left. Keep going along this path until it loops back. Once it does, choose the left path again and head up the stairs.

Now, there’s a room lit up red at the upper level, featuring a videotape in one of its windows. Interacting with it will cause the tape to come down from the upstairs.

As you look over your shoulder, you notice a shape appearing behind you. Don’t worry, it won’t cause any trouble; simply continue walking and retrace your steps to descend the stairs again.

In a basket by the bathroom ahead is the videotape. Pick it up.

Follow the path back around to a room with a bunch of TVs.

When a television set situated in the middle of the room displays “No Signal,” go ahead and insert the video tape into its integrated VCR for playback.

You’ll now be controlling a character on the TV.

Go down the stairs nearby, then take some more stairs on the left.

Eventually, you may encounter TVs that display symbols prior to the screen going dark and transporting you to another location.

Traverse a series of paths that regularly restart. In time, you’ll step away from the screen and revert back to your usual self.

A new door will now be open directly in front of you, but you don’t need to enter it currently.

After exiting the TV room, make an immediate right turn. Then, retrace your steps by going back through the door you initially entered using the Golden Key, and continue straight ahead to the end of the path where you’ll find three televisions.

How to solve the TV symbols puzzle in Luto

Interact with the glowing red TVs and enter the following symbols from top to bottom:

  • Top TV – Spiral
  • Middle TV – Single middle line with two half-circles on top and bottom
  • Bottom TV – Three triangles (tri-force)

A door will now open. Go through it.

Walk along the trail to your left until you spot an individual with eyeglasses in front of a stationary, red screen. Pick up Sam’s Fractured Spectacles.

Turn around to go back. You’ll soon fall through a hole.

Advance a step, then glance to your right and pick up the sketchbook page from the railing. Subsequently, turn around and move to the left.

To get back to the room full of TVs, exit the current room and proceed straight ahead. Turn slightly to your left at the blocked doorway, and this should lead you back to the fork where we were earlier.

Take the right path and go down the stairs to the room with all the sketches.

As a keen observer, I’ll grab the sketchbook page nestled within the nearby crate, and let my eyes linger on those mischievous monkeys once more. Let’s dive in!

Where to find the stuffed monkeys in the sketch room

Observe the monkeys swinging from the container, then face away. Locate the monkeys sitting on a shelf next to a basketball to your right of the container, then turn back. Look for the monkeys hanging from the ceiling behind a drawing, then turn back. Find the monkeys hiding on the floor near a drawing close to a gated door to your rear, then turn back. Search for the monkeys sitting on a crate near where you previously saw them, then turn back.

Pick up Isaac’s Deflated Ball.

Firstly, head towards the gated door over there and use the Silver Coin to unlock it. Then, proceed down the straight path ahead, and when you come across a red valve sitting on a metal trolley, grab it.

Follow the path you took earlier. Soon, the area around the entrance you used will begin to quake, sealing it shut. In its place, you’ll find a compact opening that leads the way forward.

Advance, grab the coin as you go, ignore the sudden appearance of the red spider. Once you reach the end of the hall, shift the crate out of your path.

To get to the red pipe for attaching the valve, please follow the maintenance corridor downstairs. Doing this will help you halt the bleeding that’s coming down the ladder ahead by that location.

Go down the ladder and walk forward. Pick up Joel’s Dull Heart.

Go back up and head into the section with the flickering blue light.

To the right, you’ll find an unclosed door that grants access to a chamber equipped with a comfortable rocking chair and a table bearing a chest.

Initially, pick up the sketchbook page from the table on your right-hand side, followed by the note located close to the rocking chair on the table.

– First, find the sketchbook page and the note that are both on the table – one near the rocking chair, and the other on your right.

Place the Entrance Door into the door slot located on the photo on the wall.

Now, you need to find a way to open the chest.

How to open the chest for the mum’s items puzzle in Luto

The clue-carrying note you just found offers suggestions for figuring out the lock’s combination based on the count of objects in the room. However, should you prefer to skip that procedure, simply input the code: 3715.

You’ll notice a small door within the frame. Go ahead and open it. Inside, you’ll find Eva’s Broken Photo.

Head back to the maintenance area, then retrace your steps down the staircase. The place you’re looking for is identifiable by a sign that reads “House of Lost Dreams” over it.

You now have the four items needed to solve the puzzle that awaits you at the bottom.

How to solve the House of Lost Dreams puzzle in Luto

In this room, you should arrange four objects under the paintings. Hints for these items can be found in your sketchbook, but if you prefer, you can use the solutions provided instead.

  • El Amanecer – Eva’s Shattered Photograph
  • El Mediodia – Isaac’s Deflated Ball
  • La tarde – Sam’s Broken Glasses
  • La noche – Joel’s Dull Heart

Once you’ve arranged things, try to depart. A floating figure may show up, so push the button on your screen like you normally do to ward it off. Continue this action as you get closer to the figure, then engage with it to set off a sequence of events.

If you attempt to depart once more, a painting on the wall will tumble down, uncovering a passageway you can squeeze through.

Navigate through the narrow, confined corridor lined with pictures for some time, until eventually the screen turns dark, transporting you back to… the restroom once more.

Step out of the bathroom, proceed along the hallway. Soon, an image will materialize and settle onto the ground. Continue moving as if guided by this apparition.

You find yourself once more standing in the bathroom. This time, exit it and take a few steps forward without entering any other area. As you face backward, notice that a new staircase has materialized where the bathroom previously stood.

Go down the stairs and through a door into a flooded hallway.

At the split, go left. Take a left down a short hallway and enter the door here.

As a curious explorer, when faced with two narrow paths, each ending at a door, I’d opt for the one adorned with a “House For Sale” sign, naturally piquing my interest.

Stroll along a corridor, make a right turn where you’ll encounter two additional corridors with doors, then opt for the one on your left that has a ‘House For Sale’ sign nearby.

In this rephrased version, you will step into a strange, haunting tableau featuring a solitary figure under the moon. Gradually make your way towards the moon until the spectacle concludes.

By using simpler and more descriptive language, we aim to create a clearer image in the reader’s mind and maintain an engaging reading experience.

Keep moving down the narrow, confined corridor lined with photos until you pass through the bathroom mirror. After that, retrieve the message left on this door.

Leave the bathroom. You’ll be attacked by the figure again.

As a gamer, I find myself standing at a crossroads, ready to decide my next course of action. My objective is clear: I must re-enter that desolate dwelling nestled within the heart of the arid wasteland. The path ahead is uncertain, but with each choice I make, I inch closer to unlocking the secrets hidden within those walls.

Approach the distant figure while maintaining control, as it vanishes upon your arrival. You’ll then have a chance to survey the area and locate another one. Continue moving forward (while maintaining control) towards that one until you reach it, at which point the screen will narrow in, hinting strongly where your next destination might be.

Yeah, you’re back in the bathroom.

After you, grab the coin that’s nearby, then move a few paces away before pushing through the door into a dimly lit corridor.
