Lunar Remastered - Lunar Silver Star Story Bromide Guide

In both Lunar series games, one of the hard-to-find collectibles are called bromides – pictures that can only be acquired by speaking to certain characters at exact moments. These can be easily overlooked, and if missed, they may require a replay to get all of them for achieving the platinum trophy or 100% completion. The original game has very specific timing for these events, while the sequel gives players more flexibility in obtaining them.

In this manual, we’ve assembled a comprehensive guide detailing the locations of every bromide found within the game “Lunar: Silver Star Story.” Keep in mind that some spoilers may arise since several of these items are linked to significant plot points or occurrences in the storyline.

Bromide Step 1

To get the remaining bromides, you’ll want to do this task early on. Head over to Burg’s weapon shop and find the man on the second floor. Make sure Ramus is in your party when you talk to him. To help Ramus out, lend him 30 silver.

Bromide Step 2

After your initial meeting with Phacia, engage the woman working next to her in conversation. It’s crucial that you pay attention to this particular dialogue as it will be essential for acquiring her bromide later in the game.

Bromide Step 3

Task: When it’s your job to locate the false Dragonmaster with Jessica, grab a boat from Lann Village to explore the nearby island, and then promptly return to Lann. Remember, the next instance you use the boat, the boatman will make a comment about Jessica. This conversation is a vital clue needed later in the game to acquire one of her sayings, or bromides.

Mia’s Bromide 1 – (1/13)

Instructions: This one is a freebie; it’s on Nash’s inventory.

Phacia’s Bromide – (2/13)

After my face-off with Xenobia in the Crystal Tower, I stepped away from Vane and approached the priestess who assists Phacia. If I had spoken to her during my initial meeting with Phacia, she would share the bromide with me then.

Luna’s Bromide 2 – (3/13)

After escorting Ghaleon to meet Quark, make your way to the cellar of Alex’s residence. Inspect the bookshelves in the cellar to locate some Luna bromide.

Royce’s Bromide – (4/13)

As a Gamer: Alright, after I’ve dealt with those pesky Vile Tribe monsters in Meribia, it’s time to head over to Black Rose Street, the western part of town. Once there, I’ll chat up the guy with blonde hair who’s hanging out near the general store. Let’s see what he has to say!

Jessica’s Bromide 4 – (5/13)

After witnessing Kyle bravely fight off Xenobia’s monsters, refrain from addressing him immediately. Instead, make your way to Nanza’s basement and inspect Kyle’s bed, which has black and red sheets on it. If you decide to enlist Kyle, you’ll forgo this opportunity for a heartfelt moment between the two characters.

Jessica’s Bromide 1 – (6/13)

After Kyle becomes a part of your group, navigate towards Althena’s Shrine, which is close to Vane. Inside the sanctuary, you will find the chamber at the very back. In that room, locate the girl on the right who thinks she might be Jessica’s sibling. Speak with her there to obtain the bromide.

Jessica’s Bromide 2 – (7/13)

As a Dragonmaster now, I find myself reminiscing about my initial journey and the kind man who lent me his boat during my first visit to this mystical land. It’s time to seek him out once more, rekindling our conversation from before. You see, there’s an enigmatic token – a bromide – that I can only obtain if I speak with him again, having interacted with him while searching for the phony Dragonmaster earlier in this epic adventure.

Mia’s Bromide 4 – (8/13)

After Nash departs from Myght’s Tower party, make your way to Iluk. Locate the house with a purple hue in the north-eastern corner. Engage the person residing there for obtaining the bromide.

Xenobia’s Bromide – (9/13)

Directions: Instead of going back to your airship after observing the Grindery advancing toward Vane, make your way back to the Talon Mines instead. Look for the purple orc miner you had previously saved and chat with him to acquire some bromide.

Mia’s Bromide 2 – (10/13)

Task: While evacuating Vane, ensure you’re going solo; having Nash with you could lead to missing an important moment. Navigate towards the Magic Guild and locate the classroom in its southeastern corner. Engage with the student who appears to be studying alone at the room’s bottom, and he should provide you with the item you need.

Luna’s Bromide 1 – (11/13)

Instructions: Talk to Ramus at his store during the Epilogue.

Jessia’s Bromide 3 (12/13) & Mia’s Bromide 3 (13/13)

Guidelines: If you recall to assist Ramus at the beginning of the game by settling the 30 silver debt he has. In the concluding part, he will reciprocate by supplying the last batch of bromides from his store for you.
