In the Lunar series, a hard-to-find collectible known as bromides is present. These are pictures that can only be acquired by speaking with particular characters at precise moments. Since they’re easily overlooked, even though the games themselves are relatively straightforward, neglecting a single bromide could necessitate a replay if you desire to obtain the platinum trophy or complete all achievements. In Eternal Blue, gathering the bromides becomes less challenging compared to the initial game. The process is less cryptic, and there’s a broader timeframe for obtaining them; however, it’s still recommended to collect them promptly. In total, you can gather 7 bromides during the main story, and an additional 15 bromides throughout the epilogue, making a grand total of 22 bromides. The ones found in the epilogue don’t require extremely specific timing or obscure prerequisites.

In this walkthrough, we’ve gathered all locations for the bromides. Keep in mind that there might be some plot reveals, given that many of these items are connected to crucial story moments or occurrences. This guide is compatible with the original PlayStation edition of Eternal Blue, since the instructions and trigger events remain identical. Unlike the game Silver Star Story.

Jean’s Bromide 2 – (2/22)

Directions: Following your victory over Plantella, engage in conversation with the other caravan members until the vines obstructing the exit are removed. When the way is open, converse with the girl who was earlier guarding the entrance – she will provide you with the bromide.

Lemina’s Bromide 3 – (3/22)

In the town of Meribia, go visit Ramus’ Grandpa at his store. Engage him in conversation multiple times – it’s on the fourth chat that he will give you a bromide.

Lemina’s Bromide 2 – (4/22)

Instructions: In Meribia, head to Ramus’ Store and examine the barrel in the upper left corner.

Jessica’s Bromide – (5/22)

Instructions: In Meribia, head to the pub. Then talk to the guy in the upper left corner.

Mia’s Bromide – (6/22)

Instructions: In the Vane Transmission Springs, talk to the man holding a pitchfork.

Lemina’s Bromide 1 – (7/22)

Instructions: In Vane’s Library, on the top row, examine the bookshelf on the far right.

Epilogue Bromide

Mauri’s Bromide 2 – (8/22)

Instructions: In Raculi, open the treasure behind Ronfar’s house.

Mauri’s Bromide 1 – (9/22)

Instructions: After Ronfar joins you, talk to Mauri in Raculi.

Luna’s Bromide – (10/22)

Directions: Head indoors to the house on your left as you approach the front door. Engage in conversation with the woman on that side to obtain the bromide.

Borgan’s Bromide – (11/22)

Instructions: In Vane, go to the Magic Guild and talk to Borgan after recruiting Lemina.

Jean’s Bromide 3 – (12/22)

At the Madoria Carnival, navigate to the second location and approach the individual close to the front. This fellow has some bromide on hand, and he’ll exchange it for 3000 Silver coins.

Jean’s Bromide 4 – (13/22)

At Madoria Carnival, navigate your way to the second location. You’ll find a hidden treasure there that contains the bromide.

Lucia’s Bromide 3 – (14/22)

Directions: Venture into the Mystic Gardens within the Ruins. Locate the fairy dwelling at the top-right area. Engage in conversation with this fairy to obtain a piece of advice.

Ghaleon’s Bromide – (15/22)

Task: Head to the spot inside the Ancient Ruins where the memory illusion took place. You’ll find a hidden stash nearby, containing the needed bromide.

Lucia’s Bromide 4 – (16/22)

Atop Taben’s Peak, examine one of the cells; you’ll find a room with a chest, within which lies the bromide.

Lucia’s Bromide 2 – (17/22)

Instructions: In Taben’s Peak, go to the balcony and talk to the baby.

Nall’s Bromide 2 – (18/22)

As a gamer, I navigate through the digital realm of Taben’s Peak, and just before I reach the balcony, I find myself in a room filled with playground equipment. In this setting, I engage in conversation with the girl I encounter there.

Leminia’s Bromide 4 – (19/22)

Instructions: In the Meribia Sewers, there is a chest that contains the bromide.

Directions: Following the recruitment of Jean, make your way to Horam. Locate the dwelling to the side of the primary dojo there. Engage in conversation with the elderly resident to obtain the sage advice.

Instructions: In Takkar, talk to the old guy guarding the northern gate.

Hiro’s Bromide – (22/22)

Guidance: The Lionhead Dungeon houses this item. You can find it inside a nearby chest situated close to the boss chamber, up on the rooftop.
