During the initial phase of the game, you can amass a significant number of Lumina points by collecting items scattered throughout the game. Here’s how you can obtain Lumina from a helpful gestral:

1. Locate the friendly gestral within the game.
2. Interact with the gestral to initiate communication.
3. Follow the instructions or complete any tasks assigned by the gestral to earn Lumina points.

How to get more Lumina points?

At the beginning of the game, you’ll find yourself in the quaint village known as Gestral Village. This is a crucial stop on your journey, essential for advancing the storyline. As with any settlement, it buzzes with activity: gestrals engaged in trade, offering items, or cracking amusing jokes. Interestingly, among these villagers, one stands out by providing a distinct service.

Make your way to the marketplace named ‘Gestral Bazaar’, situated in the western part of the village, right after the main entrance. Amidst the numerous stalls, you’ll encounter a large, blue gestral – engage in conversation with him. This particular gestral is called Berrami, who is on a quest to find abandoned expedition journals. You should be familiar with these already; they are first introduced during a cutscene and are hard to overlook.

Every time you collect ten journals within the game world, Berrami will grant you twenty colors of Lumina as a reward. These Lumina points can be utilized in your camp to permanently enhance a chosen party member with an extra Lumina point. Since journals are abundant and easy to find during exploration, this accumulates to a substantial number of additional points. In the camp, you can access the colors of Lumina by speaking to The Curator, who will move there upon finishing the Flying Waters, the game’s second primary location. As Expedition 33 features a total of five playable characters, finding ten journals will grant you four Lumina points for each member if you divide them equally among them.
