As a huge fan of “Loot,” I couldn’t contain my excitement when I heard that the show has been renewed for a third season! The second season was such a delight to watch, with each episode bringing new laughs and heartfelt moments. Maya Rudolph’s portrayal of Molly Wells, a wealthy woman who suddenly finds herself in charge of a foundation, is both hilarious and endearing.

“Loot” has been renewed for Season 3 at Apple TV+, EbMaster has learned.

The second comic series season became available on the streaming platform starting April 3. The final episode of this season aired on May 29.

“Maya Rudolph, star and executive producer, along with Danielle Renfrew Behrens, executive producer of ‘Banana Split,’ expressed their excitement for returning for a third season. They’re grateful for the opportunity to work once again with our skilled cast and crew. The production experience with Apple TV+ has been delightful, and we look forward to reconnecting with the ‘Loot’ clan.”

As a movie enthusiast, I’d describe it this way: In the new series, I find myself playing the role of Molly Wells, who’s recently gone through a divorce with her tech tycoon ex-husband, Adam Scott. With my newfound wealth, I decide to focus on managing the foundation that had slipped my mind before.

In addition to Rudolph, the show features Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, Nat Faxon, Ron Funches, Joel Kim Booster as regular cast members. During Season 2, O-T Fagbenle, Benjamin Bratt, and Ana Gasteyer made notable appearances as guests.

As a devoted cinema enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that “Loot” never fails to bring happiness and laughter with each new season. Matt Cherniss, Apple TV+’s programming chief, expressed this sentiment, stating, “With every changing season, ‘Loot’ continues to delight audiences worldwide with its endearing characters.” We’re ecstatic to collaborate with the brilliant Maya Rudolph and the entire team behind this heartwarming series for an upcoming third season filled with even more touching moments and cherished ensemble cast.
