This significant update has brought in fresh content, such as a new location called The Summit, home to the final boss of the Surface Path. On top of that, the god of war, Ares, and his powerful boons are now part of the game. But remember, you’ll need to unlock this formidable character before you can wield his might.

How to unlock Ares in Hades 2?

Just as fitting for a war deity, Ares provides combat-enhancing abilities that could tip the scales in your favor during battles. Powerful skills such as Grievous Strike, Bleeding Wound, and Meat Grinder can significantly facilitate your journey. However, you’ll need to unlock Ares first before gaining access to his divine boons.

In essence, the process isn’t overly complex – all you have to do is complete the run. However, in reality, it demands a good deal of persistence and a touch of good fortune.

  1. First, you have to choose Surface Path. It consists of four locations, and you must reach the final one – the highest peak of Mount Olympus called The Summit.
