The G Pro X Superlight 2 Dex is the first Logitech mouse to combine the popular shape of the Superlight series with a more comfortable, ergonomic design.

As a lefty, it’s frustrating because this mouse just doesn’t feel right. Most mice are shaped so anyone can use them, but this one is noticeably bigger and curved in a way that’s clearly made for right-handed people. It makes it really uncomfortable to use!

As a gamer, one of the first things I noticed about this mouse is how incredibly light it is – just 60 grams! It makes those fast flicks and quick movements so much easier. I also really appreciate the matte finish; my hands get sweaty during intense sessions, and it holds up really well. Logitech even includes grip tape if you like a bit more texture. It feels really solid too, despite being so light – no annoying creaks or wobbles at all. And if you have bigger hands like me, you’ll love the larger size. I’ve had issues with cramping on smaller mice, but that hasn’t been a problem with this one.

The HERO 2 sensor provides incredibly accurate tracking at any sensitivity setting. During fast-paced games like Call of Duty: Warzone and Battlefield 6, mouse movements felt natural and precise, without any unwanted acceleration or smoothing. The mouse’s most impressive feature is its 8,000 Hz polling rate, which makes it respond faster than ever before. While most players might not notice the difference in regular gameplay, this quicker response time can be a significant advantage for professional gamers where even tiny delays matter.

Lightforce switches are a standout feature, offering the best of both worlds: the fast response of optical switches and the satisfying, clicky feel of mechanical ones. This combination provides precise and dependable feedback, and during gameplay, every action felt instantly registered without any errors like accidental double-clicking.

The G Pro X Superlight 2 Dex also has excellent battery life. Logitech claims it lasts up to 95 hours of continuous use, and because it doesn’t have any power-draining RGB lighting, it lives up to that claim. In our tests, the mouse easily lasted for weeks with regular gaming before needing to be recharged.

Software

Like other recent Logitech devices, this mouse works with the G Hub software. G Hub lets you customize things like sensitivity (DPI), how often the mouse reports its position, what each button does, and save your settings directly to the mouse. While the G Hub software isn’t perfect, the most important features are easy to use and work well.

Logitech would benefit from offering setup options through a website. Many smaller companies are already doing this, and it’s a better approach because it doesn’t require downloading software – saving users space and generally improving the setup process.
