I just saw this adorable video of Logan Paul giving his little daughter, Esme, her very first Pokémon card! It was so sweet, and unbelievably, the card turned out to be a really valuable one! Can you believe it? What a lucky little girl!
In a video posted on Instagram, Paul surprised Esme with a highly sought-after Pokémon card: a perfect-condition, first-edition Shining Magikarp from the Neo Revelation set. This card is considered a classic among collectors and recently sold for around $9,000.
The video captures Paul helping Esme see the card for the first time, and the sweet moment quickly became popular online.

He grinned and said, “Knowing you went with Magikarp as your first Pokémon, I managed to snag a first edition Shiny one for you!” It was seriously awesome.

Paul is a longtime collector of Pokemon trading cards. He’s often shared his collection with others and discussed how much graded cards are worth.
This news follows Logan’s recent announcement that he’s auctioning off his incredibly rare Pikachu Illustrator card, which he bought for $5.3 million in 2022.
I’ll never forget when he first showed off that card! It was at Wrestlemania – his very first match – and he was wearing it around his neck. Such a cool way to debut something so special!
