Loam Entertainment Greenlights Indie Film ‘Bad Counselors’ (EXCLUSIVE)

According to exclusive reports from EbMaster, Loam Entertainment has given the go-ahead for the self-produced comedy titled “Bad Counselors.” They will be providing both funding and production support in collaboration with Zero Gravity.

The movie “Bad Counselors” tells a humorous story about two fraternity brothers who find themselves in an unusual situation. To fulfill their community service and save their senior year, they pretend to be middle-school camp counselors. This film is directed by Chris Dowling, who has worked on several other projects like “Where Hope Grows,” “Blue Miracle,” “Run the Face,” and “Priceless.

Loam Entertainment, a new venture, has just been introduced by its broadcasting parent company, Loam Media. Meanwhile, Zero Gravity Productions is recognized for producing the four-time Emmy winning series “Ozark” and the box office hit “The Accountant,” with a sequel due later this year. Other productions under their belt include “Beasts of No Nation,” “The Marksman,” “A Family Man,” and “Blacklight.

Thomas Evans, chairman of Loam Media, recognized an opportunity to invest capital to motivate younger audiences with the debut of Loam Entertainment. The series “Bad Counselors” being approved for production coincides with ongoing construction at a 268-acre media campus in Williamson County, Tennessee, due for completion by 2027. The ambition is to station executives in both Los Angeles and Tennessee to concentrate on creating high-concept entertainment.

Robert Crotty, CEO of Loam Entertainment, along with development director Kristopher Galuska and Chris Fenton, are joining forces to produce the movie titled “Bad Counselors”. Houston Bradley from Zero Gravity, Chris Roark from Narrow Gate, and director Dowling will also be part of this production. Evans, alongside Mark Williams and William Lowery, will serve as executive producers for this upcoming film. At this time, a release date has yet to be announced.
