A documentary about Noah Kahan, known for his hit “Stick Season,” is being produced by Live Nation Productions, Federal Films, Polygram Entertainment, and RadicalMedia.
The movie chronicles the beginning of Kahan’s musical journey, starting from the debut of his initial albums “Busyhead” and “I Was / I Am.” It follows his path to stardom as he headlined New York’s Madison Square Garden and Boston’s Fenway Park. Throughout this narrative, the documentary delves into Kahan’s personal struggles and battles with managing his mental health amidst the limelight.

Nick Sweeney is in charge of directing the movie, with Ryan Kroft, Vaughn Trudeau, and Anna Keegan serving as producers under Live Nation Productions; Jeff Ludwig and Devon Libran working as producers for Federal Films; David Blackman representing Polygram Entertainment; and Samantha Mustari, Dave Sirulnick, and Stacey Reiss being involved with RadicalMedia.
Sweeney gained recognition for the 2022 HBO Max documentary “Santa Camp,” which chronicled attempts to promote diversity among individuals portraying Santa Claus in public settings. Additionally, he directed the 2020 film titled “AKA Jane Roe.
Live Nation Productions is a division specializing in concert promotion, with recent projects such as “The French Montana Story: For Khadija” and The Weeknd’s movie “Hurry Up Tomorrow.” Upcoming documentaries include “Billy Idol Should Be Dead,” “Rebbeca” featuring Becky G, “Still Free TC” starring Ty Dolla $ign, and a scripted feature titled “K-Pops” by Anderson .Paak. These productions will be released soon.
The film produced by Kahan, yet to be titled, has a team of executive producers. This team consists of Michael Rapino, Jessica James Batista, Michael Yerke, and Alex Maxwell from Live Nation Productions; Drew Simmons and Ryan Langlois from Foundations; Ben Adelson and Alex Coslov from Mercury Records; Monte Lipman and Jeffrey Remedios from Federal Films; and Jon Kamen from RadicalMedia. Asher Brown and Henry Allison are the co-producers for this project.
The documentary has been completed and is now being shopped for distribution by CAA.
