Little Nightmares 3 Launches In October, Preorders Come With Remaster Of Original Game

Bandai Namco has revealed that the third installment of Little Nightmares, titled Little Nightmares III, will be released on October 10th. They are also developing a version for Switch 2. As an added incentive, those who preorder the game will receive the remastered first game for free.

Simultaneously with the announced release date, the publisher unveiled a fresh trailer as well (check it out in the embedded video below). This trailer offers a sneak peek into what the adventure game has in store, featuring its distinctive tilt-shift visual style, ominous and moody backdrops, and eerily humorous adversaries.

As a fellow gamer, I’m thrilled to let you know that by pre-ordering this upcoming game, I’ll not only be among the first to play it but also score an exclusive in-game costume set! Plus, there’s a sweet bonus: the Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition, a spruced-up version of the original. This remastered gem boasts top-notch graphics and performance, running seamlessly at 4K/60fps with eye-catching features like ray-tracing and volumetric lighting. Once you hit that preorder button, the Enhanced Edition is all yours! If you’ve already got the original game under your belt, you’ll receive a free upgrade to the Enhanced Edition on October 10. Can’t wait!

In a nutshell, Little Nightmares III is set to drop on various platforms such as PC, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch (original and upcoming Switch 2). The standard version for PlayStation and Xbox will retail at $40, while the Deluxe Edition, packed with extra in-game content, will cost you $60. Interestingly, the preorder on Steam currently stands at $60 for the standard edition and $80 for the Deluxe, leaving us unsure if this price difference is intentional or not. For those familiar with the series, Little Nightmares III presents an exciting twist by incorporating co-op play – a daring move that showed potential in our previews last year.
