I’ve been appointed as the head of television post-production at Lionsgate, taking over from Bobby Williams who recently retired. This is an exciting new chapter in my career!
Prior to her recent promotion, Du Pont held the position of a director in TV post-production at Lionsgate. She had previously worked on various projects such as “The Studio” on Apple TV+, “Home Economics” on ABC, “Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist” on NBC, and “Orange Is the New Black” on Netflix. In her new, expanded role, she will now supervise post-production for all of Lionsgate’s scripted television projects. This includes shows like ABC’s “The Rookie” and its spinoff, MGM+’s modern take on “Robin Hood,” USA’s “The Rainmaker,” and the Power franchise and Spartacus sequel series on Starz, where she has served for eight years.
After spending 23 years at Lionsgate, Williams is retiring. He held positions as both Executive Vice President and Head of TV Post-Production. Under his leadership, the TV division expanded into a $1.5 billion enterprise. Some of the shows he contributed to during his tenure include “Mad Men,” “Orange Is the New Black,” “Weeds,” “Nurse Jackie,” “Nashville” and the “Power” series, along with more recent projects like “The Studio,” “Mythic Quest,” “Acapulco,” “The Rainmaker” and “The Continental.”
After a 23-year career at Lionsgate, Williams is retiring. He was an important executive who oversaw TV post-production. During his time there, the TV division grew to be worth $1.5 billion. Some of the shows he worked on include “Mad Men,” “Orange Is the New Black,” and many others. He also contributed to newer projects like “The Studio” and “Mythic Quest.
Taylor is rapidly making a name for herself within our Television Group,” stated Lionsgate Television Group chair and chief creative officer Kevin Beggs and vice chairman Sandra Stern. “She possesses robust post-production knowledge, which she will apply to her new position. We’d like to express our appreciation to Bobby, who has provided 23 years of invaluable and esteemed service to the company, overseeing post-production for some of our most legendary television series.
