Although it could be thought that Lohan’s success on Netflix would prompt her to continue creating films for the streaming service, the actor recently shared in an interview with Elle magazine that her acting ambitions now extend beyond Netflix.

However, she acknowledges that producing such movies can’t last forever and feels it is time to explore new creative directions with Netflix.

Following this, Lindsay Lohan will make her comeback to cinema screens with the much-awaited premiere of “Freakier Friday,” a sequel to the 2003 film of the same name, produced by Disney. The release date is set for August 8 and Lohan, along with original co-star Jamie Lee Curtis, will reprise their roles in this new chapter.

Lohan shared with Elle that the sequel had a relaxed vibe during filming, which is how he describes his feelings while watching it too – effortless yet enjoyable and modern.
