Lil Baby ‘snatches’ Jack Doherty’s $200,000 chain at the club and drives off

Rap artist Lil Baby transformed an ordinary late-night club visit into a viral uproar when he grabbed a valuable $200,000 diamond necklace belonging to YouTube personality and live-streamer Jack Doherty.

In the viral 50-second clip, which has garnered more than millions of views on platform X, Doherty is seen in a state of distress, pursuing Lil Baby and urgently asking, “Dude, can you give me back my necklace, please!

In a laid-back manner, Lil Baby shows a smile, adorns himself with jewelry, then jumps into his vehicle, and casually departs.

At the club, Lil Baby took Jack Doherty’s expensive necklace worth $200,000 and left without a trace, following an incident where Jack had paid to join Lil Baby’s social circle. 😞

Before driving off, Lil Baby taunts Doherty by telling him to “call the police”.

Jack replies, “That’s caught on tape, right? It’s absurd to think he could snatch my necklace and escape without consequences. That’s just funny.

Was it real?

As I shared my latest gameplay clip online, it rapidly caught fire across social media platforms, sparking heated discussions among viewers about its authenticity. Some were convinced it was an honest incident, while others speculated it could be a meticulously planned prank. At the tender age of 21, I’ve found myself at the epicenter of viral controversies before – remember that time last April when I alleged a robbery on Rodeo Drive left me $300,000 lighter in my jewel collection?

Initially, in early May, there was a video where Lil Baby was spotted proposing to replace one of Doherty’s necklaces during an amicable encounter on the street. It is said that in 2024, Lil Baby received $200k from Doherty for performing at his birthday celebration.

It’s possible that people are interpreting that historical event as a recurring prank or a playful partnership aimed at satirizing Doherty’s reputation for being involved in dramatic situations.

“Lil Baby out here doing skits now lol,” one user joked on X.

Some people questioned why Doherty’s security didn’t act, expressing that they would immediately seize the situation, if it weren’t a planned scenario.

Indeed, the security guard was stationed quite close by. If it hadn’t been a comedy sketch, they probably wouldn’t have minded if it was Lil Baby; they would have retrieved it.

As of now, neither Lil Baby nor Doherty has provided any updates, and no police reports have been submitted yet.
