At Summer Game Fest, NEOWIZ and ROUND8 Studio unveiled, in a fittingly dramatic manner reminiscent of Geppetto’s Puppet, the release of their DLC expansion for Lies of P. The audience was captivated by an awe-inspiring trailer showcasing the towering and ruthless creatures that inhabit the expanded game world. To the delight of viewers, it was announced that the DLC is immediately accessible for download on PlayStation, Xbox, and Steam.
Step into the captivating world of Lies of P: Overture, where you’ll journey through the annals of time to uncover hidden tales and spine-tingling mysteries that mold the destiny of Lies of P. Along your adventure, discover a myriad of weapon pairings and Legion Arms that empower you to craft distinct battle strategies like never before.
Jiwon Choi, game director at ROUND8 Studio, stated that the launch of ‘Lies of P’ was a significant milestone for our team. It seemed appropriate to extend the tale we’ve created in an extraordinary manner during Summer Game Fest by unveiling it unexpectedly on all platforms as a surprise release,” said Choi. “This expansion concludes the initial chapter of our story, and we hope our audience shares the same affection and backing as they did for the original game. Beyond the release of the DLC, the original game will also get an update featuring two additional difficulty levels and two tougher boss fight modes. These boss fight modes can be accessed through Hotel Krat Stargazer after players have witnessed at least one ending from the base game. Battle Memories enable players to replay fights against previously vanquished bosses with increased difficulty options. Death March presents a tough sequence of battles against previously defeated foes, offering reduced player health and items for added challenge.
