Level-5 has formally dissolved the Level5 comcept subsidiary established with Keiji Inafune

It was announced on May 15th, through a message to shareholders, that Level-5 had officially disbanded the subsidiary company known as Level5 Concept, which they had jointly established with Keiji Inafune, back on April 30th this year.

In June 2017, a subsidiary called Level5 Concept was formed with Keiji Inafune at the helm after he joined Level-5. Known later for creating “Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time,” this team functioned under his leadership until mid-2024 when Inafune parted ways with the group. This departure led to Level-5’s CEO, Akihiro Hino, restructuring the development process for the game in March of this year.

Back in March 3rd of this year, our company established a new branch in Osaka. This office now takes over all the operations previously handled by Level5 comcept, including the team responsible for the development of Fantasy Life. Consequently, due to this change, it no longer makes sense for us to maintain the subsidiary that has been without its primary leader.
