Lego’s initial Zelda set, the Great Deku Tree, was a high-end collector’s item costing $299.99, €299.99, or £259.99. This new set, based on Ocarina of Time, is much more affordable while still capturing a memorable scene from the game.
January has been a busy month for Lego, with the release of both the Ocarina of Time set and new Pokemon sets. The Pokemon sets, in particular, proved incredibly popular, causing long online wait times and selling out quickly.
A promotional Pokemon gift offered with the new Lego set is now being resold online for nearly $200, demonstrating the high demand for Lego’s collaborations with Nintendo.
