The newest Lego building set based on The Lord of the Rings, titled “The Shire,” is now accessible early through Lego Insiders. This detailed display model, consisting of 2,017 pieces, replicates the Hobbits’ homeland. To commemorate the launch of this $270 set, Lego is providing a complimentary Lord of the Rings Lego set worth $25 (as long as supplies last) until April 8th. If you’re interested in this free offer, it would be wise to enroll in Lego’s free rewards program to secure the new Lord of the Rings Lego set before it becomes available to the public on April 5th.

As a token of appreciation, Lego Insiders will receive a compact, adorable set depicting a poignant moment from the films. This is a speed-build kit consisting of 181 pieces, which reenacts the heartbreaking scene where Smeagol and Deagol find the One Ring that was believed to be misplaced.
For about a decade now, most of Lego’s Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit collection has been discontinued. However, enthusiasts have enjoyed several large-scale sets released under the Lego Icons series during the last two years.
Just announced is a new Lego creation – a towering replica of Sauron’s fortress, Barad-dur. This 5,471-piece model stands an impressive 32.5 inches tall upon completion and will set you back $460. Given its size, it’s essential to decide ahead where to showcase this elaborate structure. Inside the stronghold, you’ll discover a host of exciting features spread across five levels: Sauron’s throne room with a hidden passageway, Gollum’s lair, an Orc prison, a kitchen and dining hall, an armory, a library, and much more. The tower accommodates 10 minifigures, along with additional Lord of the Rings characters hailing from The Shire or Rivendell who may wish to pay a visit. Additionally, the Eye of Sauron is intricately designed on the spire, illuminating for an authentic ambiance.
To escape the gloominess, take a look at Lego’s impressive 6,167-piece rendition of Rivendell. Given its expansive scale, it’s understandable that this intricate Lego creation will set you back $500. When assembled, make sure to allocate ample room on your shelves for this stunning masterpiece. Measuring 28.5 inches wide, 19.5 inches deep, and 15 inches tall, Lego’s Rivendell is truly a sight to behold. The set also includes 15 minifigures, ensuring you have all the characters needed to reenact the memorable scene where the Fellowship of the Ring was formed.
