Legend of Zelda superfan reclaims world record with $100k collection

The world’s top Legend of Zelda collector regained her record title in 2026, having gathered an impressive 4,000 different items from the game after briefly losing it in 2025.

Anne Martha Harnes, a 39-year-old mother of two from Norway, first earned a Guinness World Record in 2016 for owning 1,816 collectibles. However, her collection has grown much larger since then.

In July 2025, Constantine ‘Coz’ Adams, a collector from Virginia, acquired the record. He had been collecting items related to the game since he was sixteen years old.

Harnes updates her collection

Harnes was eager to reclaim her record and dramatically expanded her collection of Zelda items – increasing it by 120%. She explained to Guinness World Records, “I’ve wanted to update my record for nearly ten years, and my collection has just continued to grow!”

She explained that with the game recently damaged and Zelda’s 40th anniversary approaching, it felt like the ideal time to restore it.

When asked about her most prized possession, Harnes highlighted her unique guitar, named ‘Zoraxe.’ It’s a hand-carved collectible inspired by the game Majora’s Mask, and incredibly rare – only seven were ever created by Dan Lawerence of Jackson Customs Guitars.

So, I’ve been collecting Zelda stuff for years, mostly buying it all myself, and I reckon my whole collection is worth about 1 million Norwegian Krone – that’s around $102,533 or £76,403! It’s a serious investment, but totally worth it for a Zelda fan like me.

Harne recently regained her title as the world’s top Zelda collector, but she’s still searching for those rare, elusive items to complete her collection.

She realized that the things she truly desired were usually the ones she hadn’t even found yet.
