‘Legally Blonde’ Prequel Series First Look: Lexi Minetree Makes Her Elle Woods Debut

Reese Witherspoon unveiled the initial appearance of Lexi Minetree, portraying Elle Woods, in the forthcoming “Elle” prequel series on Amazon Prime Video.

Recently, the production for our new series, “Elle,” has commenced, as announced by Reese Witherspoon on her Instagram post. She penned, “University life at Harvard was tough. High school was even more challenging. Now we’re shooting our latest project!

According to the official summary, the series delves into Elle Woods’ high school years, revealing the formative events that molded her into the beloved character from the initial “Legally Blonde” movie.

In February, it was revealed that Minetree will take on the main character. Additionally, Tom Everett Scott has been cast as Elle’s father, while June Diane Raphael will play the role of her mother.

2001 saw the debut of “Legally Blonde,” a film that significantly propelled Reese Witherspoon’s career, following closely on the heels of her standout performances in “Cruel Intentions” and “Election.” She once more took on the character of Elle in the 2003 sequel titled “Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde.
