The trailer for “Law & Order: Organized Crime” Season 5 has been released.
This show focuses on a team of detectives based in New York City, who take down ruthless criminal organizations using the Organized Crime Control Bureau. The main characters are Christopher Meloni, Danielle Moné Truitt, Ainsley Seiger, Dean Norris, and Rick Gonzalez.
In this new season, Meloni portrays Det. Elliot Stabler, reprising his role from “Law & Order: SVU”. His character now works as a lead detective within the Organized Crime Control Bureau. The storyline delves into the treacherous realms of transnational trafficking, homegrown terrorism leveraging advanced technology, and a criminal family seeking retribution for Stabler’s actions in Rome. As these spheres intersect, Stabler is prepared to risk it all to safeguard the defenseless and uphold justice, as stated by the season’s official summary.
Seiger assumes the role of Jet Slootmaekers and Gonzalez takes on Bobby Reyes – two characters that assist in the investigations. Meanwhile, Norris portrays Stabler’s sibling, Randall.
Starting from April 17th, the fifth season kicks off with a double premiere, followed by new episodes every Thursday. In total, there are ten one-hour episodes. You can now stream this series on Peacock, while the premiere will also be broadcasted on NBC.
Universal Television and Wolf Entertainment produce the series.
The television series was developed by Dick Wolf, Ilene Chaiken, and Matt Olmstead. Those overseeing the production are Dick Wolf, Matt Olmstead, Danny Meloni, John Shiban, Mike Slovis, Peter Jankowski, and Tim Walsh.
Mariska Hargitay expressed her desire to reconnect with Meloni at some stage, stating to EbMaster that “The moment has arrived for us. It’s been quite a while since we’ve been in the same cosmic sphere.
