As a longtime Nintendo and Lego enthusiast, I can’t help but feel a pang of nostalgia as I gaze upon the Lego Super Mario 64 Question Block set. Having spent countless hours navigating the vibrant world of Super Mario 64 on my trusty N64 back in the day, this set is like a dream come true for me.
The Super Mario 64 Lego set, which was originally available, has been discontinued by Lego as of the end of July. Prior to this, the set had been unavailable at major retailers such as Amazon for several months. Interestingly, Amazon recently restocked the item, possibly for the final time. Based on past experiences with reselling Lego sets, a price tag of $200 for the Mario 64 Lego set could become an attractive offer in the near future.
Lego Super Mario 64 Question Block Set
The 2,064-piece Lego set is designed to mirror the famous Question Blocks from the Super Mario series, and it houses miniature landscapes inspired by Super Mario 64 within. With this set, you can build the game’s central hub, Peach’s Castle, as well as a group of levels: Bob-omb Battlefield, Cool Mountain, and Lethal Lava Trouble. The construction process is indeed enjoyable, just as one would anticipate.
Beyond this, you’ll find Lego Super Mario microfigures of characters such as Mario, Yoshi, Princess Peach, King Bob-omb, and Chain Chomp. Notably, these microfigures work alongside the interactive Lego Mario/Luigi/Peach figures from the Lego Mario starter courses, which recently got some exciting updates.

The Lego NES is an enjoyable build for two individuals to assemble together, as it comes with separate manual guides for the CRT TV and console.
One of the five collections is still awaiting its debut. The Super Mario World: Mario & Yoshi launches on October 1 and can be preordered currently at Target for $130. This specific collection seems quite entertaining, as it includes several moving parts to replicate animations from Super Mario World, showcasing the iconic characters Mario and his loyal dinosaur companion Yoshi in their pixelated splendor.
There’s another option, the substantial Mighty Bowser collection, which is undeniably stylish yet pricier. If you’re looking for something that symbolizes Mario’s formidable adversary at a more affordable price point, the Lego Bowser Muscle Car could be an appealing choice. Notably, it costs just $24 (originally $30). The Bowser Muscle Car set can double as both a playset and a display item. On the budget-friendly end of the spectrum is the charming Piranha Plant. This Lego Mario building kit is the sole display set that won’t break the bank, retailing for under $100 at just $60.
Fans of the classic game series, Zelda, will soon have the chance to construct their own Lego sets inspired by the iconic action-adventure saga. The 2-in-1 Lego building set featuring The Great Deku Tree is scheduled for release on September 1 and can be preordered now at the official Lego Store.
